I have noticed that at least in India some of the Politicians are really old and are suffering from illhealth and are unable to take care of themselves.People like Karuna nidhi and Arjun Singh need to lean on other people for support when they have to move. Their thinking and ideas are ancient and not at all in sync with the country's present day needs. Many a times they create problems because of their moth eaten ideas.Taking all this into consideration do you think that it is a good idea to have a retirement age for politicians too...

Hello Kiran..ha..ha...this is indeed a wonderful suggestion and I agree with everything you say.Yes indeed it is very essential to have a retiremnet age for politicians, especially so in our country since there is no derth of dynamic young blood here.we need to change with the times ,and even as we stick to our age old values and customs ,in politics and in other fields,we should be open to change, for only this way our country will progress.Old leaders are respected because they have more experinces, but they should pave the way for the younger generation to come up poilitically and this will make India a force to reckon with in the international community. It is pathetic when very old leaders try to grab or stick to their chairs and spent more time seeking medical aid ,rather than working for the good of the country.Yes a retirement age is very essential if India has to progress and florish, the strength must come from within, and only young blood can infuse new life and vision for our country.........

Yes Kiran,I am sure replacing old people with young blood will be a welcome option by all Indians............A whiff of young blood will energise and vitalise our stale political set up.......

Yes, I think there should be an age limit for politicians and judges. We have some that are ancient and keep going! They should be forced to retire like the rest of the population. Out usual retirement age is 65, although some retire with companies that have a 55 early retirement or at the age of 62. To me, the politicians should be held to the same time table that regular workers are.
