I see lot of people taking a facial and the beauticans minting money for giving a facial. I wonder how useful a facial it. Does it really soften up the skin? just rubbign soem cream on the face for a while may not actually be doing any great good to the skin. Wouldn't it be better to take a steam inhalation?

Yes.....a facial does soften the skin but you don't have to spend large amount of money or even a single cent to go to the beauty spa. You can always do a home facial yourself. Just invest in the skincare that suits you and you can begin your own beauty regime at home. I do my own facial spa at home twice a week because I go about town in a motorbike so there will surely be more dirt on my face. If I take the car more than the motorbike, then I will do facial myself once a week. I have never gone to a beauty spa before and don't intend to and you are right...those beauty centres are real expensive........

It gives some fresh feeling after facial, besides it can make your skin face healthier, your face will feel bright and tight, i don't know about steam inhalation, but i guess it will open your skin pores to clear dust and little acne why don't you just give it a shot?

I have thought about getting a facial done myself. I think it could be benefitally in some ways. It can help you relax and feel better about your skin. To me it is a form of pampering and sometimes I feel we all need that sometimes. I have thought about learning to do facials from home and making money doing it. How much do they cost? I have never gotten one but I have thought about it many times. Anyway nice discussion & happy mylotting!
