BEWARE of job offers

I received an email about a possible job working for a well known company. The person signed it as the CEO, and there was an address. I went online to see if everything matched, and yes, the company was there and the location was the same. It is a legitimate company. I went under the careers tab, and there was a warning, warning people about emails that were going out with the CEO's name offering employment. It said to notify the FBI if you received such an email. So be careful, if you receive an email from a company named Graybar Electric, located in MO. Just a warning, I thought I would share. People are looking for work these days, and may jump at this opportunity without researching, and it is really not legitimate.

ah, that must really suck for the company that has to deal with that. Hopefully it stops soon and the FBI sort everything out.

Yeah, I get that junk all the time along with you won the lottery, the IRS owes you money and all of the other spam. I have AOL and I use my keywords to filter out the junk. Works pretty well. I do check the spam folder often as some real emails have found theur way there also, but 99% of it is junk.

I think people came with new ideas to cheat. As jobs is the on most of the people's mind, these guys are making use of it. Anyways thanks a lot for the information. Will take care of the searching first, and verifying about the company before making any moves towards such offers. Thanks
