I have heard that Mozilla has launched a new browser beta version called Flock. I don't know what is the purpose of having two browsers simultaneously. Do you intend to try it or not. Those of you who have experienced flock what does it look like? Is it better than firefox?

Never heard of it ronaldinu. I use Explorer for my browser. Looked into Firefox, but found that a lot of people have problems with it and peopoe need to put patches in when using other programs. This is the first I've heard of Flock. Have to admit, I'll read about it, but I would never leave Explorer. Explorers been good to me.

I haven't heard of Flock but I do love Firefox! I'll never go back to Explorer. I might try Flock but I don't understand why someone would want two browsers.

Answering from my email..I haven't heard of Flock till now. Their are o many different browsers I wouldn't know which to use. But I like my Firefox better then IE. But I wouldn't turn down something that is considered better then Firefox by more then 10 people. Well, it has been 4 weeks so have you tried it yet? If so, was it any good?

Flock is off the chains - It tells you what it is tho - It says it is a social media browser - meaning it is meant to intergrade with your social media like facefook, twitter, youtube, myspace, photobucket, flicker, digg, blooger, etc... If you are into blooging and network marketing - It is a jewel!

I have downloaded flock. It is great for bloggers and people who like new gadgets. I think I prefer the traditional sober firefox.

I believe Flock is what they call the "social browser" it has available plug-ins for the sites Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, Hi-5 and other social sites. I tried using it once but I haven't tried the plug-ins yet. I still think that Firefox is better though especially for us who does online money making.

I downloaded and tried Flock, but found that the browser froze and then my computer crashed. I re-started windows (XP) and tried again - it worked OK for a few moments, then crashed again. It looked quite a good browser too, but I ended up uninstalling it and sticking with my original Firefox, that I find very good.. :-) Derek

Flock?? I have never heard of it yet.. Why would firefox launch a new version when it's doing so well?? I think it's bit stupid because nobody will wanna use both the same browsers right?? hehe ^_^ Right now, i'm using Internet explorer, but i do have firefox too.. haha =D Firefox is just a backup for me and i have not even used it yet.. lol =D

yea i'm using Flock. And i must say that at times it's rather slow. I too don't like the way they arrange my favourites. I would say that it has no difference between flock or firefox. Just that firefox has more addons that flock doesn't have.

Hi there Ronaldinu. I have not heard about this, and no, i don't think i will change this browser any time soon as i am very pleased with it's performances so far. I also like the addons that i have installed on it, so image that it would be a little hard for me to give it all up any time soon.

I have not heard of it but if ain't broke, why fix it? I have no problems with what I am using now, Firefox, so unless I am unhappy I will most likely continue with this browser.

My other computer has Firefox and I loane dit to my brother-in-law to allow him to use a computer and get his fixed. I do want to know about it and will keep up on the responses to this discusion. Thank you ronald for letting me and others know about this new browser.

I heard of it, but have not tried it yet. I love Firefox the best. There is also another browser called Chrome that is designed when you just go to your favorite sites. I suppose Flock is designed for a certain type of user, but do not know if I am that kind of user anyway. I will look into it, but will probably stick to Firefox because it is cross-platform. I do not like browsers that only Windows users can use and no one else.

This is the first time i heard about Flock. And honestly, i only have firefox recently when i bought my new laptop. my hubby is primitive. lol... he won't let me download firefox to our pc because he thinks that everything i would download in the computer is virus. so i was stuck with Internet Explorer browser. with firefox now, i am ok with it. i would try to research on the flock later. thanks for the info.

I'm just now getting used to using Firefox, I don't think I'll change to something else for awhile, I've never heard of Flock. Maybe someone on here has tried it, and they'll let us all know what its about.

Mozilla has had only one browser yet. They obviously want to stay in frontline to get people use thier products and compete with other company's product. i havent used flock but it brobably is made with better features or better speed.

Well, they also have Safari and one more broweser at the same time unless I am wrong... Is that Flock offering the same things as firefox? I mean it could have additional features to make it better for other operating systems too etc..
