We just finished building our little green house and I am making plans for my little secret garden. Do you have a garden? What type of things do you grow, edibles, flowers, or both?

I have a small garden where I grow tomatoes, squash, peppers, corn, zucchini, asparagus and sometimes onions, brussel sprouts, and cabbage. Though the garden is small, I usually have enough to share with neighbors and friends.

That is really nice. It is especially a nice thing to give when it is something you made yourself.

Do you have room for a small fountain, I love running water in the garden

I would love to make a little pond! I am thinking of putting some gold fishes and Kois in there. Maybe some little frogs.

I like having flowers and little bush like things as well as trees around my yard. I don't have my own place right now, I live at home and my mom and I plant flowers and things around our yard and in little pots, I think they just add somethign special to the lawn.

They are definitely special. I enjoy them all over our yard too.

We moved late this last fall so we haven't broken ground but when we do we'll grow pretty things out front... Like hostias, wild flowers. The fence line will have as many different kinds of sunflowers as I can find. The back will have edibles. In today's market growing your own food is a good idea.

Yes, it is definitely a good idea. But I am angry at times when I go outside and smell pollution also. It's in our air and water too. But it's better than the chemicals they use in the processed foods (I hope).
