Finally bought something with my earnings

Well this is not the first time I spent my earniongs from here online. Long ago I did buy ink cartidges for my printer. But that had been it in all my years as a member of myLot. I spent over $200 last week on a few things. I finally got the first item. A new Proctor Silex 4 slice toaster via UPS. I am waiting onm a really nice set of pots and pans and a couple DVD's I ordered at the same time. I get so impatient waiting for the packages to arrive. So in the past I always deposited my earnings into my bank account. But the p[ast 6 months or so I kept them in my PayPal account to shop a little. Do you buy many things with your earnings from myLot? Or do you deposit it into a bank account? Maybe you have a PayPal debit card? What do you do with your earnings? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That sounds like a smart goal. You might even find something you can sell with your metal detector.

Well I guess youi don't need a metal detector to find doors huh? Just joking there. I'd love to have one as wll. But I don't have time to do that kind of stuff. I stay at home taking care of my dad so going out during the day is rough to do. Good luck and soon you'll have it I'm sure. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Good for you, glad that you were able to save up enough to buy you some nice things, I hope you get the rest of them soon, I don't like waiting either. I usually keep my earnings in my paypal account, I can't ever save mine up tho, I spend it just about as fast as I can make it..lol. I'm usually spending it on something I found on ebay. This time, I may try to keep it in there as long as I can....Have a good day

Normally I put the money in the bank account, but now I've decided I'm leaving it on Paypal. I want to try to save the money for the holidays the end of this year, but I'm sure once things get too tight I'll probably withdraw it all and use it for bills.

Hi there Grandpa Bob. The first sum of money that i transferred to my bank account from my paypal was about 23$ (after paypal took the fee of 2.5$ approximately ) and i used them to buy my first online thing - a Disney DVD from AMAZON - The little mermaid Platinum 2 disc edition. I was very happy with the condition, price and quality that i further bought stuff from both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk. For the moment i have a small amount in my paypal account (under 10$) but i am waiting on some nice earnings in february (over 25$).

When I was Ebaying,I always deposited the money over in my checking account. And I also did that with my money from mylot at Christmas to buy Christmas with. Actually, I used it to give my grandkids money with their presents. Right now, I'm just letting the money I'm getting from mylot and other places pile up in PayPal. But I will eventually deposit it in my checking account unless I choose to pay my website rent with it. I've gotten a bill but he hasn't sent me a PayPal bill yet - just waiting.

Sometimes I just let my earnings sit in Paypal for awhile. I like knowing that it's there and that it is a bit harder to touch so I'm not so tempted to go all out and buy things right away. However, sometimes I do transfer money to my bank account if I'm running a bit low on cash and need to buy some things from the store that I actually need. I guess I don't really go all out and buy myself a lot of things.

Hi Grandpa B, Wow..that's great! I used to spend mine every month for the last 4 months of being here and just lately, I started saving it in my bank account! I wish to get something worthwhile after accumulating into a certain amount!

It sounds like you had fun shopping with your earnings. I have mine in my paypal account, it's not much but it is some. What has been spent has been done at times when my grandson is here and if he wants to pay for some things on here I use that for him.

I usually just keep my earning in my paypal account, so if there is something that I want to purchase on line, I have the money there to purchase what I want.

I have a PayPal debit card. My money gets spent all the time. I have money from here and money from eBay going on their all the time. It gets mingled and spent. Today some of it was used to buy diapers and baby wipes.

Only if I use it at an ATM which I never do. Otherwise they do not charge you at all to use it. I have had my PayPal debit card for about 7 years now. I use it all the time.

No, I've never done anything with my earnings ... I'm sure I haven't made much, and don't understand the PayPal thing anyway. You've done really well to have saved so much - and it's great you can have it put into a bank account. I didn't know that was possible.

WoW! Congratulations that you have been able to amass $200 from myLot earning. Happy myLotting and happy marKeting as well. But would you please tell me from which site you buy things online using paypal balance? Is the service available from any country? Thanks in advance.

I am putting all of my happy little dollars into my Pay Pal for now. I am saving up for a trip to Minnesota. I am going to have another grand baby. My daughter actually says she is going to deliver in Co on Rapids. I will look for you then. First week in June, probably.

Hey cool! I wonder which DVDs you bought. I'm guessing someone has already asked you that and when I hit submit, I'll see you have responsed to someone about that. I want a toaster. But mine would be like a five dollar one I'd find at Big Lots. Congrats for saving it all up!

I've made about $160 on here since I started a few years ago (the second month here I earned over $30 with 3 active referrals under me.. my best month to date), and while I've put some of into eBay shopping, lately I've been using it to pay the subscription for a game I play called Showcats (www.Showcats.com). The subscription fee is about $5 a month, and I usually make my payout every month, so I can pay it out of my earnings here.

I have not touched any of my online earnings. They all sit in my Paypal account. I leave them as dollars too as I intend using them one day when I get to visit my sister in USA. If I put them in my bank account they will get used for everyday things. They are completely extra earnings and as such I let them stay there.

The $200 I spent was earned over quite a few months actually. Seems some think it was one months earnings. If I could make $200 a motnh I'd be so happy. So when are you planning on visiting the States? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

It's planned for 'in the future' at the moment because other things (like work and having our 90 year old mother all by herself in UK) don't make me feel like setting a date yet. The good thing is though thatthe longer Iput it off, the longer I will stay once I get there!

i tend to leave mine in my paypal account until i want to book a ticket to visit my boyfriend or things like our trip to bc on the houseboat. Then i transfer the paypal money to my bank account and use it to pay for the fun things like that. I also used it once to buy some books from noble knight games.

I have a paypal debit card and a greendot mastercard which if you are not familiar with it is a prepaid debit card. I use the greendot card for any companies that will only pay by direct deposit. My work as a mystery shopper means that I get a lot of small payments from the several companies that I work for. I much prefer using the paypal for this because they itemize who the payments come from unlike greendot which only tells you the amount of the deposit. Also when I use my paypal card to make purchases I get one percent of my purchases rebated to me. So I use the paypal card when making actual purchases but if I need to withdraw cash I draw it from the greendot card.

No fees on the paypal unless I use an ATM which I don't. The greendot charges me 4.95 a month service charge but a checking account would charge just as much if not more. And if I go to the grocerystore and buy something and use the cash back feature I avoid the ATM charges there as well.
