Zombie clerk on the street - Zombies walking down the road
It was a legitimate warning. Here's a pic of the county court clerk on his way in to work.

Like the reporter said, "it was amusing, but not helpful". I would have laughed too. That's hilarious. I mean; I hope it didn't have an Amber alert or something. But, I love the humor. I used to see signs outside of small businesses changed. Like, instead of "kids eat free", I one time saw, "pigs eat free". And, things like that, to me, are funny.

since it was a city one, it was only warning of something like a lane closure or exit closed (actually, if I know the area, that's what it was warning of, since 15th street crosses Lamar with a bridge since there's a creek that runs under Lamar right there and when I was a kid, the road didn't go thru. Its a tricky intersection.

I saw that on tv here in Houston. It is hilarious! I know that it was a bad idea and these signs are to be used for important things but leave it to the people in Austin to have a little fun.

I read about this in the local paper and had a good laugh over it. Someone(s) has way too much time on their hands to be thinking about doing this. lol

I did hear about that on the radio station I listen on iTunes. I had to laugh because it make me think of the time we where driving down the freeway and came upon one of the road signs that the road crews pull on a trailer. It was flashing on and off all by its self in the medium and it said "PREPARE TO DIE" I was driving with my son and daughter and we where on Hywy 99 going towards Fresno CA. We laughed and thought it was so funny. It was on a weekend and someone had their way with the sign probably in the middle of the night. I know some did not think it was so funny but we did. You do not expect to see a flashing road sign to say "Prepare to Die" or "Zombies Ahead".

LOL. Well if the ejits don't have enough rains to change passwords, what do they expect? We all know there are about 10 default passwords, with 2222 and 4444 and 1234 being the most common. Add or subtract one digit and you cover 99% of default passwords.

*LOL* Too funny. I wonder if it was referring to students who pulled an all nighter. It was not that far from the university.*L*

well, if it had been during exams week, I might've thought so, but its early in the new semester - it was probably done by bored students
