This question has been in my mind and i am unable to obtain an appropriate answers. 1)Let`s see Were all those people who died deem to die? 2) Why didnt god stop so many deaths? 3) I suppose all of them prayed for god to rescue them but only few ever remained. 4) Or those persons those who died were not praying or not good and that was the reason for them to die.

Very good topic. Very good. I admire your mylot skills. Okay, I have had many conversations about the above as well and came to the conclusion that God may have did try to stop them from going in. Could have gave one person a flat tire, made one not set his alarm clock, made one miss the bus, or had some others be scheduled to be on vacation that day. Or any of a million other "happenings" which could be attributed to the person not listen to their "inner being God". At the very least, maybe they didn't pray for safety that day. To say god wasn't "there" is bs because we are made of God so to speak.

Hilarious and yet thought provoking. He is the supreme he could have done anything to prevent a catastrophe. I love when you said we are made up of God that`s true (i believe in it). Cheers Thank you for admiring my skills.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (New International Version) "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:" This Scripture shows that God has an appointed time to do things. He has a schedule. Now is not the time for Him to intervene in man's affairs. Nor is the time for Him to stop so called natural disasters like the tsunami that occurred in on December 26, 2004 killing more than 225,000 people in eleven countries. The time schedule indicated in the Bible shows that the time is getting near when He will put a stop to man's madness and end all kinds of disasters when His kingdom rules in the near future.

There is a time for everything i agree till then we ought to face these happenings. Are you saying that god is doing all this?. Still there is a lot of time for him to come i guess.

2 Peter 3:8-13 (Holman Christian Standard Bible) 8 Dear friends, don't let this one thing escape you: with the Lord one day is like 1,000 years, and 1,000 years like one day. (A) 9 The Lord does not delay His promise, (B) as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any (C) to perish, (D) but all to come to repentance. (E) 10 But the Day of the Lord (F) will come like a thief; (G) [a] on that [day] the heavens will pass away (H) with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, (I) and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed. 11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, [it is clear] what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness 12 as you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God, (J) because of which the heavens will be on fire and be dissolved, and the elements will melt with the heat. 13 But based on His promise, [b]we wait for new heavens and a new earth, (K) where righteousness will dwell. _______________________________________ God is preparing a new system of things for obedient mankind. Then there will be no evil or suffering. We have to remember that God did not cause Sept 11. Men did. Man is to blame for most of the human suffering. Let us blame the responsible ones. True, God did not stop it but He did not cause it. The time will come when man will no longer control the affairs on the earth but God will. That's why we pray for His will to be done. The time for demonic and human rulership of the earth is about to expire in the very near future. In the meantime we have to patiently endure all kinds of suffering and hardships. But they will eventually end.

Ah, the old "lack of evidence is evidence" farce.

No, but if all you have to back your side is a lack of evidence, then you have nothing backing your side at all. Or is there somehow some way to prove something doesn't exist by a lack of evidence? If there is, I guess subatomic particles didn't exist, then "poof" they started to exist when evidence of them were found.

I had the same questions the last time, is God a cruel God? why does God let so many people die of hunger, die in horrible wars, allow brutallity to other humans, etc. But if you believe in His teachings, it has all the answers... the earth is not the place he promised for people to live in, it is just a temporary place where people spend their material being. So whatever happen here on earth has a purpose for Him. He promised a place where one will go when he is a spiritual being, and that is the real place where one can spend his eternal spiritual life free of all these cruelties.

raulgc01, nice to see you trying to understand what is going on in this world. In my search I found that the earth will eventually be a beautiful peaceful place for humans to inhabit. It has all we need for our eternal happiness. One of the prophets wrote: Psalm 115:15-16 (New International Version) 15 May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 16 The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man. Yes, now things are messy but in a little while, all things will be made new.

God could not even save his only-begotten son, Jesus Christ, from dyin gon the cross. So, we cannot expect him to save the world trade centre from blowing. You see, God is not bothered about the acts of cruelty, violence or terrorism. What God is bothered about is abortion and indulging in premarital or extramarital affair. God cannot tolerate if you have an affir outside marriage. But if you blow up a buiding, there is no problem.
