Do you think ladies are bad drivers?

I find that many people have this notion that ladies are bad drivers and they feel it is because we have no technical knowledge. I personally feel that ladies may be a little timid in the beginning but once they are proficient in driving they make much better drivers..
What do you people think ?

I was reminded of an incident that happened a few days ago. I saw a traffic jam on the road as i was driving and it was morning rush hour, and when i got off from my car to see what was the cause, i saw a lady carefully trying to turn into a parking lot and had blocked the entire place because she was so slow in doing it, not careless but being too careful and causing confusion ....

LOL I know what you mean ! there are some ladies who concentrate so hard on their driving that they forget that there others on the road as well, and it can be a real nuisance to other drivers. I agree even that can cause accidents and other kinds of road mishaps..

Lady driver well to be frank they are no different from males in cities. i have seen them jumping red lights with little care in world .. the only difference i feel in lady and gent driver is 1) the ladies drive faster than males in cities 2) when ever there is accident they get away being a lady. 3) if in an accident if lady starts to fight then no one listens to males.. so i keep my distance from them.

LOL your views made me laugh! I agree with you about it. I have a cousin who is a terror on the roads and i am scared to sit with her while she is driving. Once when she jumped the light a cop stopped the car and asked her to pay the fine, but she got down and had so much to say about the inefficiency of the department etc; he thought it was better to just ask her to clear out, as we were blocking other vehicles. But men do this sort of thing all the time and get away with it , being a woman it is thought that you have to behave in a certain manner only!!

Why people talk like this? As far as 'technical knowledge' is concerned, many girls are engineers (as well as automobile engineers) these days. Then they may be better drivers than ordinary BA/BSc boys!
I feel in general, girls are better drivers. They are more careful to avoid accidents. Especially in India, I wish to see more lady drivers.

ladies while driving are over cautious and the world record shows lesser accidents from the lady drivers!!
i personally feel they are cool minded drivers and more careful!!
