the british film industry is arguably the best in the world!!!

i'm not trying to offend any other nations here but i think that the british film industry is much more diverse than many others,i hate to generalise but as a nation i feel our films are very understated and occassionaly misunderstood the genres and styles are unlike any other in the world that i have come across and i just think they get a bad press around the world.

yeah deffinatly, i get what your saying. our films have substance and all differ, most american films are remakes of older films just with a more 'modern' story line

good man,always thought that myself,but never quite understood why some of the best all time films(in my opinion)are going unnoticed,strange world i say

yeah mate, deffinatly. like i have been watching more films a latly, mostly prison based ones like 'hunger' they are great films which also teach you about british history, yet when you ask others to compare views, nobody has even heard of them.

no you're right i havent,but for me i dont really enjoy all the singing and dancing in films from an nations or cultures,although i must say that indian films are definately coming to the fore compared to a few years ago thanks for comments

can you suggest some good films of your industry.Not comedy something like Mansfield park which does have drama and charm of that era.

I guess you have to come up your own version of Hollywood. Hollywood is what making US films attractive. Cheers!
