Ok it was late last night and I was getting ready to go to bed and I had asked my b/f to grab me a tissue since I have seemed to have gotten cold. Yeah me. So as I ewww blow my nose and bring the tissue away I seemed to have caught my nose ring in the tissue and pulled it out. That might not seem such a tragedy but it was a curved piercing. So it shouldn't have came out easy. On top of this I have never changed my nose ring myself I actually had my bestfriend change it for me. So I'm sitting there looking at this nose ring thinking I have to get it back in before my nose heals. LOL!! So I spent about 15 minutes trying to put it back in only causing myself pain and getting frustrated and panicking that I'm going to have to go through getting it peirced again. Well I got up came down stairs grabbed another peircing and washed it and my nose tried to calm down grabbed a regular earing and just to make sure put it through the hole. LOL!! Hey it proved it was open and me having the problem I then realized that I had to lessen the curve in order to get it in.. So about an hour later and lots of frustrations later. I got it in and looked at my b/f who was staring at me funny "what? what do I look like if you are giving me that look?" He replied I looked totally pissed off. The funny thing was I was both pissed and paniced. LOL!!! I swear to gosh if I had to get my nose pierced again I might have killed someone or something. LOL!! So have you ever had a piercing come out when it wasn't supposed to? What did you do?? what is your piercing story?

Mine didn't come out when it wasn't supposed to, but.... When it came time to switch my belly button ring after I had it pierced.... I had a hell of a time. LOL! It was a hoop.....with a ball. The way to get it out, is to pry the hoop open and pull the ball, because it is held in place by the pressure..... well, you need like 3 hands. My best friend was there and it took me using pliers to pry the stupid thing apart, then her grabbing the ball and pulling it out. Then she had to insert the new ring for me, since I a.)couldn't see and b.) am terrified of needles. Now I can change them myself with no problems, but then it was a bit sketchy.

This is like the piercing that fell out that I tri - this has the same curve as both of the nose rings but this is more the one I had in earlier and now the one I have is has a gem in it.
I completely understand ... I hate needles but for some reason the peircings and tatoos don't bother me!!. LOL!! I guess the first time is always sketchy now that I know what I have to do with the peircing I'm not going to freak or get upset over it now. LOL

You have more guts then me b/c I could never get anything pierced on me...I practically had to be sedated just to have my ears done. I think if it had been me I'd have just left it out and let it close but then I wouldn't have had one to start with LOL To each his own and congrats on getting it back in LOL ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

Awww, bella, that must've hurt. But I'm glad that you finally got it back in. My only interesting piercing story is pretty bland. After I talked my Mom into allowing me to get my ears pierced, I think at age 12 at a jewelery shop, I fainted, right there in the shop. I awoke to find myself lying on the floor of the shop, with everyone staring down at me. I don't know why, but may have been a touch of anemia. I was fine and recovered completely. Then, when I was a few years older, maybe 15, I think, I asked her to take me to get a 2nd hole pierced in my ears. She refused. So, I just took some icecubes, froze my ear, then sterilized a big darning needle, and POOF!, two holes in each ear. I still have them to this day and use them both. She was shocked that I had the gummption to do it myself. But most people have learned by now, not to bother wasting their time trying to stop me when I want something. I usually get it.

It took me several tries to pierce my ears. The first time I used some self-piercing earrings my mom had used. They were doing okay when one day, I was attacked by a friend's crazy 60-year-old landlady. She literally jumped on me, & started pummeling me! At first I thought hey, I can't hit back--what if I damaged her? She's just an old lady! (Of course, now that I'm 61, she doesn't seem all THAT old...but then, I was 21 when she went after me....) Anyway, as we ricocheted around my pal's apartment (Robin, my pal, was at work, & missed all this fun 'til she came home to find cops all over the place), between her pulling dinner off the stove & throwing it everywhere & beating up on me with her itty fists (she was a lot stronger than she looked!), she managed to rip out one of the earrings. Oooow? Finally I got her off of me & out the door (& locked same!), & assessed the damage. The earring was crooked, so I bent it back into shape, cleaned up the blood, & reinserted it. But...little did I know, the ring did its best to do the thing it was designed to do...but it was off juuuust enough that when it did finally get all the way through on one end, the other didn't meet it, so I had 2 holes into my ear, & neither of them came out again. Some years later, I tried again, but this time I used a proper piercing, & unfortunately, my ears got infected, no matter how hard I tried to keep them clean. Some years after that, I went to a pro, had it done, & bought & faithfully used a special ear cleaning liquid that did the trick. But ever since the first try, I've still got more holes in there than I need, & whenever I put in earrings, half the time I find I've gone up one of the "blind alleys," & had to start over! There ya go. MY story. Maggiepie

For some reason I always get calls about nostril piercings coming out and people not being able to put it back in. I always tell people to just relax and then take the nostril screw and start it in the hole and then stick your finger in your nose and feel for the barbell coming out the other end. And use both hands to work its way slowly bad in. I've have to say this is the number one piercing to come out and people not able to get it back in.
