What time do you start washing your clothes?

Most of the time, I can start washing my clothes around mid-day, if it's just clothes. If it happens that I'm washing all of the sheets and comforters, I have to start doing the laundry a lot earlier in the day. When it takes five loads to just get the bedding washed, it can take a big part of the day. Now, once it gets warmer out, I can start putting stuff out on the line. Laundry should go a lot faster then. I can't wait.

Why do you have to do all these loads of wash in one day?! If you do a load every few days then you don't have to do it all in one day. I do a load like every other day or so. I would hate to do five loads in one day. Ugh!

I do it that way because I want to get laundry done all at once. I don't want to have to run the dryer more than I necessarily have to. This may not make sense to you, but it does to me.

Oh well. What makes sense to me will not make sense to you. As long as we know what we're each doing, it shouldn't matter.

When my "clean" and "still good" piles are gone and the "dirty pile" are suddenly much much larger.

But do you have a time of day that you get started? Or does it just happen to be when you get started?

I tend to do laundry "Triage" and do about 2 weeks worth of clothes to get me by. And during those 2 weeks I do the rest of my laundry, a couple loads a day.

Usually I do the laundry early in the morning so that I can iron them before 6:00pm, but if there are just few pieces I have to wash them around 1:00pm and iron the next day.

I start washing clothes first thing in the morning. I get up have a cup of coffee, jump in the shower, throw a load od clothes in the wash and turn on my computer. I go down after the first load washes, throw it in the dryer, and put in another load. By the time the first load is dry I am ready to give my eyes a rest from being on the computer so I talk to my kids on the phone while folding my clothes. After that I have brunch, do up the dishes, run my sweeper, and then back on the computer.

i start washing clothes in mid day .and i will hang them at 4 or 5 clock in evening. i will put one load in one day. and i will put 2,3 times in a week in washing machine for one load .it will be sufficient for us,as there are only two members in our house. i will give laundry once in a week and he will return next day .
