I created this discussion aiming to make Mathematics easy for us especially for those who hate Math and finding it very difficult. I want you guys to share some tricks or shortcuts that you know. Let's make Mathematics easier! Ok let me start with this simple trick that I know. The square of any number ending with number 5 (examples: 35, 75, 125) will always got an answer ending with the number 25. (Example: the square of 35 is 1225). While the number/s before 5( Example: 3 on 35) will be needed to multiply to itself then add to itself to get the first portion of the answer.(Example: 3, 3 X3 = 9 +3 = 12, that's why you got the answer 1225 to the square of 35). I hope you understand my explanation, Lol! Now, it's your turn. What can you contribute? Let's make Mathematics easier!

OK, I too have something to share! Its the square of numbers that are composed of one only. See the easy and worth remembering pattern: Number Square 1 1 11 121 111 12321 1111 1234321 11111 123454321 111111 12345654321 1111111 1234567654321 11111111 123456787654321 111111111 12345678987654321 Very simple and interesting!!

Good day! This is not a technique, this is one of the basic laws of exponents. Any number raised to the power of zero will always be equal to one. So, don't be mislead by the one million raised to the power zero question. It is just equal to one.

I don't see if anywhere I mentioned using zero as a power..??!!
