follow up......about onion!

last time i posted discussion about how to cut onion without crying?i did apply both.to put in refregrator and to cut with the water open.both works but the taste is different.i prefer the using water to cut its more tasty than putting in refregerator.anyway thanks to all mylot friends who gave the idea.i always learned from you guys and this way i love more and more to mylot.Thank you again.

I learnt this trick from my dad.I asked him in surprise one day that why his eyes didn't burn he told me that he washed it in water.My mom always cuts onions without washing them.It really makes my eyes burn and water.My mom says it is very good for the eyes.

yes its very good for the eyes but there is onion that too sharp for the eyes and its not good at all.

I saw a chef on TV slicing onions so fast but he was wearing goggles for his eyes. Slicing it in water only makes a lot of mess. If you can get the goggles somewhere then it would be easier next time. Otherwise, you can opt for the other methods.
