Waiting for something or somebody sometimes can be totally boring. Like when we have to wait in a hospital or doctor waiting room, while we have to wait for a plane departure or when we wait someone for some appointment. What do you do to spending time ? I always read a novel or newspaper while waiting, or if I'm really bored, I'm playing games at my cell phone. Sometimes I just observing people around me, and think about their personality :) This will help me fill the boredoom. What about you people ?

I always text. I swear that has to be like a nervous habit for people my age. If I am waiting around I text my mom, my dad, my sisters, all my friends... yeah. It might be out of insecurity. But whatever, it's what I do. haha.

If I have to wait for something for instanse at the airport I usually read or write. I often bring a book if I know that I have to wait for a long time. I once studied for an exam at the airport, and I got so much studying done. If I didn't bring any books, I spend the time on writing instead (I always carry my notebook and my pen) I write a letter to a friend, work on a poem or a short story, write down my feelings and thoughts, write some positive affirmations or write a list of all the things that I am grateful for. Over the years I have gotten a lot of writing done while I was waiting for a bus, a train or a plane.

I think, reading a book is an old fashion yet the most common way people do to spend their waiting moments.

I recently got a new cell phone that really keeps me pretty well entertained. I can go online and see what's happening on mylot or check my email. I also have downloaded several games to keep me occupied if I need to pass some time. And then there's always the last resort with my phone, use it to call whoever I;m waiting for to find out where they are.

Well I just spent 45 minutes locked outside with only my car keys (my house keys are on my other set). I spent it counting the cars going past, singing the bad boys theme song lol, watching one of my cats play with ants, squishing ants, and walking around in circles. It was a pretty exciting 45 minutes. I recommend that everyone should try it at least once lol. If I know that I am going to have to wait for someone/something I will either make random conversation, read something (even if its just random street signs), clear out my phones inbox, and lots of other little things.
