Do you prefer to add butter to your pan before cooking or adding one of those flavored oil sprays? For me it usually depends but I think it is quicker for me to spray the oil onto the pan.

I usually use an oil spray, don't like using butter.

I use oilspray to pan before cooking. As our family has a history of high cholestrol I mostly avoid adding butter.

I actually use margarine, but I am trying to get away from that, as it is not healthy.

I like using oil spays. They are a little healthier (because you use less) and much more conveinent. I also have found one by Bakers Secret for baking. It has the oil and flour right in it. Very handy

I most generally use the cooking spray it's faster and easier than having to rub the butter all over the pan, but occasionally if I've been out of spray i'll do this.

For me it depends on what I'm cooking. I think somethings just taste better if they are cooked in butter. Onions for example I think they tasted better sauted in butter. I use the spray for eggs and I LOVE the sprays they have now for baking. It works so much better than greasing and flouring, which when I do it is so messy.

For me, it depends more on what I'm cooking as opposed to convenience. It also depends on who I'm cooking for too, like when my Dad had to watch his intake of butters etc. (dietary restrictions.) Just me, but I don't like to buy any food product that comes in an aerosol spray form lol.

It depends on what I am making. Some things are just fine with spray and other things just don't taste quite right to me if they do not have that butter flavor.

I sometimes use butter, it usually depends on what I'm cooking. I try to use olive oil as much as possible as this is much better healthwise.
