The Jonas Brothers

Disney, MTV, and pop culture in general have ruined music. I am one of those people who think the Beatles suck (...most of their compositions are very simple, and ultimately very poppy as well). These new bands are just more annoying because it is obvious that they have had a lot of studio work. From the pictures you see which are most certainly photoshopped, to the music which is so digitally enhanced it becomes obnoxious. Not to mention having Disney basically feed this crap to children, pretty much makes below mediocre music catch on.

If you were here with me you would probably hit me , but I actually like The Jonas Brothers and hannah Montanna. My 2 year will dance all around the house to their music and I love it. But their music is not to awful.

what???? are they out of their minds? do they ask Paul Mccartney before saying that the jonas brothers are the beatles of the new era? i dont like jonas brothers but i dont hate them. now i am hating them. i mean they dont even know how to sing properly on live..... i hate Hannah, i hate miley for she feels she is too pretty. i think they should travel the whole world first before they can say that they are the beatles of the new era.... if the amount of fans is like the amount of fans during the beatles days.

Who in their right mind chould even compare the two. To me they compare more to New Kids On The Block(did not like them either). My kids do not even like them. I think you are right Disney is just making more money on sales. Every one that stars in a disney program also sings, yeah right. What happened to Hillary Duff, grew up got off disney and fizzled out. Sad to say that is what will happen to all of them, once they get older.

No kidding, of course they are. It's because they are so popular among the teenybopper set. I don't mind them, they aren't as annoying as Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus. It's so creepy how 10 year olds worship her!

believe me your not being mean at all.You're just saying the truth.I too am fed up with hanna montanas,high school musicals and such.Disney grab this mainstream kids that make ok music, gives them image,gives them publicity,grabs another disney kids and make them help each other out and participate in each other's album like if they were great albums and make them bigger then they actually are.Truth is that kids buy what's on tv, and what's on tv right now is disney, and that means jonas brothers and hanna montana earning mucho $$$ or at least disney.C'mon there so much better and more serious bands then jonas brothers out there.In a couple of years when the shows stop being sucesfull and the hype is out,they'll start their solo project or something and no one will care about them,which is kind of sad.Of course,i could be wrong and with time they could get better and actually do something like the beatles did...i may be kinda mean and hating in this forum,but i really had to vent.thank you for starting this and sorry to not answer earlier,it was because i thought this was some kind of adolation post, and i really don't eat the crap that they trow on tv for you to buy...no bs for me...disney is not a record company...they just sell image,music is meant to be listened

Nah, I feel the same as you are, too. I'm not being a hater or anything. Jonas Brothers are definitely not comparable with Beatles. Beatles is Beatles. I think it's just the publicity that they're getting that's why they're so famous. They can sing but they don't write they own songs like The Beatles, they're so artistic. I don't like Miley Cyrus either.
