turandotty I know the feeling... I have applied to 100+ jobs and got only 6 interviews, and of that I only got one job offer. It's not something anyone should take personally, so many qualified and intelligent people are out of work right now. Also people get jobs 90% of...

turandotty I agree - NEVER give sites your credit card #. PTC sites are pretty much a waste of time, though you get paid. However I do recommend some survey sites. I have made a lot from some of them, though you have to be from US to join.

turandotty Maybe like 90% - I've only had one bad experience with a website. Otherwise I've made over $200 in the past couple months. Most are just - even if you make money - it takes so long to cashout that some would think that it isn't worthwhile. But there are...

Anyone here a member of sites like treasuretrooper.com or cashcrate?

turandotty @turandotty (228) • United States 14 Mar 09

How much have you made there? In my experience, they're both pretty good sites. Except I hate that a lot of the offers don't approve. Do you have problems with that? I heard clearing cookies often helps.

turandotty I would say that cashcrate credits better than treasure trooper. I've had pretty good experience with it and since I posted the question I have gotten paid from them. I usually do the 25 cent offers, and they credit about 80-90% of the time. I would recommend...

What do you usually when you get depressed?

kariter @kariter (138) • China 18 Aug 09

The rain has lasted three days. It seems that the sun won't come out again. It makes me gloomy. I don't want to do anything. When do you usually do when you get depressed?

turandotty Eh, nothing. When I'm depressed I can't motivate myself to be busy and get things done a lot of the time. Although I don't find the rain depressing.

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22937) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 2 Jun 09

turandotty Very good points. I hadn't thought of that before - that scientists don't hold themselves to the same standards. After all, who developed the atomic bomb? I really never understood why science has to be separate from religion. It's like - can't you see...

turandotty First of all, it's Newsweek. So being able to take the article seriously has already gone out the window. Newsweek is to the left of Time (already leftist), but not as liberal as say, the New Yorker or Atlantic Monthly. So I'm not going to bother reading the...

turandotty I know, it really stinks. I think I had about $4 accumulated there so I'll never get this money now. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the time on it. Oh well. I seriously doubt they'll get up and running again. The 'rescue fund' is probably a scam.
