I been thinking that when ever i marry i would go for world trip on honey moon. Every country has been made beautiful by God and every country has lots of tourist attractions like we in India has Taj Mahal, himalayas, beaches in sounth, kerela which is so beautiful that it is marketed as God's own country. So if you have to pick one thing in your country which one you would choose?

well I am from India too.. I would also suggest Taj Mahal but when you plan to go summer, please don't go.. Our experience was really terrible, cos we went to Taj in Summer and we didn't know we should not wear sandals. We had to walk all the way with bear foot and it literally burnt our foot. You can go to Manali also to Rohtang pass, which we felt is really cool for couple, we went for our second honeymoon to manali. While In USA, I would suggest Las Vegas which is my favorite destination for honey moon

Hmm The Taj as u know it is made of pure white marble and marbles get real hot in sun..so it is bound to be super hot and i dont like the road leading to it too. And secondly it is a grave of queen Mumtaj and you dont go with ur shoes on to a grave yard so no shoes or sandals allowed there. But it is so so beautiful , a must see for everyone.

well I am not saying, I want to go with shoes, inside the graveyard. They can allow people near the graveyard with shoes and ask them remove outside that particular room...since we were went as a honey moon trip, my husband was not that excited to visit a graveyard eventhough its one of a wonder in the world, he came because I compelled him. It was a nice place to visit but not in summer. This is my personal experience

I understand how you felt and since u are of Indian origin you must be knowing everyplace even in temples or mosques or gurudwaras you have to take ur shoes outside and walk a long distance bare foot and it is so hard in summers.. thats how it is in India:(

i am an indian and in india i suggest u those places u have told. taj, himalayas, beaches and u can go to many temples in india if u want. and u can see kuwait which is one of the best place in arabic countries. here this country is highest in currency value than US. its currency is called kuwait dinars and one kuwait dinar is equal to 163 rupees which is highest in the world. and this is small country and u can get shopping complexes which have goods from all over the world. here in this country u can see world's second highest tower called kuwait towers , and u can sail in ship also. here u can see scientific centre , and zoo with lots of birds and animals . here there will be good parks and exbitions . here yearly once gold exbition will be there and gold items will come from many countries and many more exbitions will be there . there are good hotels to stay and u can shop anything here including electronic goods which are good in quality like US. here there will be many indians in hotels and shops and anyone can help u. so think of this country kuwait also when u plan for honeymoon.

I have been to Boracay and Bohol and these places are popular with tourists. They've got their own charm. But for a honeymoon, i would recommend Palawan. I hope you look at this website to see why I chose this place http://www.amanresorts.com/amanpulo/home.aspx

For China, Beijing is a place of capital for many dynasties, so the grand palaces, grand gardens are the upfront eyecatching historic spots for tourists. It also has several hills around, so the scenery spots are also attracting. In the south of China, I would recommend Suzhou and Hangzhou for you, for their delicate gardening, mostly private gardens in Suzhou, and beautiful lake and gardens in Hangzhou.

I think they should visit the coca cola factory lol. I live where it started and who doesnt like coke. I like to drink because its carbonated flavor so good in my mouth. Where I live there arent much landforms so you wont be doing much sight seeing. But there sure are alot of great buildings to visit. Too bad we dont have anything god like where I live lol. Maybe a freaking giant sword in the ground would look great...

try philippines...its affordable and u got plenty of travel destinations to choose from....aside from the famous island of Boracay, try making a research on Palawan...it has the longest underground cave in the world that you might include in your itinerary aside from the beaches that they also have. there are lots of other places here...u can choose from ilocos region for the old houses..its like a trip on the past, baguio city, cebu, davao, cagayan de oro, puerto galera, island of bohol.

I have no idea where you come from, but from my point of view, you should go somewehere very different from your mother country. You can explore the exotic customs and feelings. That's like an adventure, especially when you don't speak that language.

I was born in the UK but live n the USA. In the UK I would say go to visit the Peak District and the Lake District. In the USA being from Central Illinois, here is what I would recommend - fly to chicago - take a look at the lake then rent a car and head out straight West until you reach the Great River Road. Once at the Great River Road head South along it. The colours, the sights etc. are magnificent not to mention the places that you would go through such as St. Louis. The best time to see the beautiful colours are in the fall of the year - I would say from late September on. Oh and don't forget a good camera - LOL.

I am Italian. here in Italy there are several nice places.. in particular, here is famous Sardinia, a wonderful seaside resort. unluckily, it's not the right season, because here in Italy it's winter, and the climate is very cold. Rome is really nice. I advise you not to go there in the summer because the climate is too hot: this is the right season. IN Rome, you can visite the famous Colosseum, Vatican museums, ara pacis, and lots of ancient monuments. the thing that strucked me is that some places, even if very old and ancient, are kept very well till nowadays. i hope you enjoy your honeymoon!congratulations!

Thank you for your detail discussion about so many things in Italy. Italy has always fascinated me since childhood.. their history and then their peculiar shape on map and cities like Rome, Florance and i was so surprised as a kid to know that there is a country inside Rome city.. a must and my marriage is still few years away.. I am just thinking where i would like to take my wife to what she would remember whole of life with fond memories.

I too am from India and i feel that there are many places in my country that are beautiful and are worth visiting. The first place that comes to my mind is Kashmir, which was the favorite of 60's film makers as it had everything there for perfect romance and a great holiday..next came the hill stations like Shimla, Darjeeling, Mussorie etc; In spite of all the mess that the Pakistan terrorists have made of a heavenly place like Kashmir, i'd still say that it is the best place that I would like to visit in my country...

You are right as a famous Persian poet said about Kashmir... if there is heaven on earth it is here, it is here , it is here ... it is very beautiful place with house boats floating in Dal lake which you can rent and Kashmir slips out of mind because of people getting killed by terrorist there and it is no more a safe place otherwise i think it is even more beautiful than Switzerland.
