What do you do

When there is so much on your mind, your stress level has reached an all time high and you can not sleep at night? That's a description of me at the present time. I am so stressed at the lack of money and not able to pay my bills, I am so stressed because I can not find a job, and the worry is so deep concerning my father who was put in a nursing home this past week. My mind is constantly racing a mile a minute and I just feel lost. I feel guilty when I think about my situation, not knowing what my father's fate may be. I do not have an apettite, I can't sleep and I am trying hard not to get into a deep depression, I find that tears just roll down my face at any given moment. I know that God does not put more on you than you can handle, but I do not think I am handling things too well. What do you do??????????????????

do you know what?prayers helps a lot.in my case when my hubby had heart attack and his life was 50-50 i just prayed very hard and of course heartily. and the time is was very dark and rain shower.after praying,i went to the hospital and visit him.while walking direction to hospital,i felt the miracle.i feel the sunhine like it was enlighten me and i felt great.then when i arrived there he was moving!so pleas pray thats the best thing we can do.

I have this issue sometimes. The best thing I can think about doing is just to relax! I know it sounds hard, because it is hard, but take a nice long bath, take some deep breaths before going to bed. Maybe invest in some chamomile tea that you drink at night to help relax you for bed. It will make you drowsy so it's important to drink it right before going to bed and not to drink at any other time. A lavendar room spray will also help calm frazzled nerves.

Thank you so much for your advice, and tips. I do not have chamomile tea, but I do have valarian, I think that is also a relaxer.

Have strong faith in God and no situations remains for ever. Every bad situation passes after some time. At such I do one thing that whenever I am feeling like crying and tears rolling down. I take to beads and chant a mantra like Om, if you are a christian you try with jesus, if you are Muslim then try Allah, believe me chanting the names of gods helps a lot and believe me some help comes out from somewhere.

First you need to go to a doctor to see your phisical situation right now. Not sleeping will do worse for you. Your mind needs rest so that you can handle those things, if you don´t get the necessary rest things will get even worse for you. It´s not the time for you to get sick, what you need now is to be strong. Very strong. About depression, try to do things, even if they are simple that make you feel better, try to have some fun with the people you love. Now it´s the time to get close to the ones you love, this will also help you to get stronger. And keep the faith. Best wishes to you!

Thank you for responding, actually I had a pretty good day yesterday. I went to visit my father with my sister and mother and afterwards I did not feel too anxious.

Well when my stress level is in the highest level I lie down and do some breathing. And I tend to talk to myself saying, I know you're so stress out with alot of things, but remember that all the things that I'm doing is for my family. That serve as my boaster to keep on going and it works.

I sometimes think that I can handle things very easily using my conscious mind. This could not be farther from the truth and I now find that it is better to let the unconscious mind take some of the burden away. Cheers!!!

i am very sorry to hear than. nowaday find a job is so difficult. but you know where there is a will ,there is a way. never give up, mybe tommorrow you will find a good job. good luck my friend ,everything will be ok.

Time will turn up everything good.life is just an oscillation between good moments and bad moments.Learning to enjoy,even a bad situation is the greatest difficult thing in lif.If you leran it and you can rule the world then. Look at people who suffer more than you,your mind may turn up automatically... Dont get vexed, after all this is just a life.try what can you do ,dont let you mind go to any extreme,it will affect you health... Water can never saty in a place,yes, problems too.problems sticks you ,until it finds the next habitat. So,try to be confident,dont give up,time will turn things good....

ya i too was in same situvation many times. mostly that time i will lonely to any nice place and sit silently for few mins.. that gives me much relax and makes my mind cool..thats it.. u too try this.

i can honestly say you are not alone . just hang in there and keep plugging away . theres help out there , find it , church groups , social groups , red cross , salvation army . some will even help you financially to a degree . go ahead and cry , might be good to do that as its a sign of release . ive had times in my life where i didnt think it would ever end , through friends and family support , im still here. youll do just fine , dont let this grab and hold you . a good nights sleep probably wouldnt hurt , give yourself a forget about life moment , take a nice warm bubble bath , relax yourself and make yourself get some sleep , things will look better tomorrow . good luck

i guess thats pretty normal as you were stress you cant focus on anything at all. but to think about it actually its a matter of how you think things... you can control your mind and try to calm everything thinking that everything will be alright. what i do if i am in a middle of stress money matters or whatever and i want to get a sleep,what i do is i think about my happy moments in life and it works it make me fall asleep. clever huh! maybe it will work for you too.
