I am not sure about ladies shoes. But for guys, I love the Hush Puppies series of gel cushions shoes for work. They are leather shoes in the Float Series. I have been wearing these series for about 8 years now. And I will always try to get them whenever the pair I am wearing wears out. For sports shoes, you can try looking at brooks. They are darn comfortable with a wide shoe base for good support. For sandles, the Canberra series are good. The last pair I had lasted me for more than 5 years. I would still be wearing them if it had not been stolen!

Yeah... and the worst part of it is, the joker only stole one shoe! I mean, take the whole pair. At least I can convince myself that the fella needed the shoes more than me. So I will consider it a charity act to "Donate" the sandals to him/her. But when only one is taken, it is an obvious case of mischief! I was so mad! If I ever catch the joker, I will definitely put him to the authorities care! Grrr... nothing better to do than to make mischief at the expense of other!

i think ,the ones which are of dr.scholls brand are good.i do own a pair and i do feel quite comfortable in it.they have a very soft feel and have a very solid grip which minimises slipping.

Number one rule with bad feet and ankles..knees....always wear shoes...every waking minute! It totally depends on what the shoe feels like. I have some Eurosteps that I put on the first day and went shopping all day long without any problems...usually my knees are what give me the pain first...I also use insteps...so you might have to go to a foot doctor for custom made ones.
