There are so many pasta sauces out there on the market that ou really don't have to get bored with spagetti again! I have found a personal favorite and I will share it with you. I like Classico Sundried Tomato Alfredo. It is SOOOO good! I toss this with cooked pasta and some veggies and call it a Sundried Primavera! It melts is your mouth! Try it and let me know what you think. Happy Mylotting...

I will often times make sausage for the meat with the spaghetti instead of hamburger because it is usually cheaper and it tastes better than using just plain hamburger, I think that it is really good and I will often use it and enjoy using it as well. I think that the spaghetti tastes really good with the sausge and I look forward to eating it.

Ahh, I love spagetti, but I make mine a little different. I use sausage for spagetti, cut up in small circles, fry it. Then i add onions, bellpepper, celery and canned mushroom pieces to it and let it saute a little with the sausage, then I add in canned diced tomatoes. And it is so delicious, the longer it cooks, the better it gets, hope I gave you a new dish to try. I love also serving it with garlic bread, I melt my butter and garlic powder in a cup in the microwave then put it on bread and then sprinkle parsley flakes on it to make it look more delicious, and then broil it for a few in the oven. :] Happy mylotting.

What kind of sauce do you do? I do a great meat sauce as well as no tomato sauce spaghetti. Like last night I made pasta which was spaghetti and the sauce was...olive oil sauteed onions and garlic then added shrimp and black olives. When everything was mixed, I then added the cooked spaghetti and tossed it. I loved it! In my tomato meat sauce I add ground beef and spicy sausages. If I had them, I would also add some mushrooms. Why don't you try some other kinds of pasta with it? Penne, linguine, fettuccine? With linguine you could have some alfredo sauce or some clam sauce with it.

Afternoon, TnWoman...how about a clam sauce...or bacon carbonera...both nice creamy sauces..and nice for a change! I can honestly say, I have never purchased a pre-made sauce, so cannot recommend one over the other! Bon Appetit!

Hi TnWoman! Spaghetti is also our family's all time favorite! And I have to be more creative in adding other ingredients in my ready made spaghetti sauce I buy in hte grocery. So, what i usually do is to add mushroom, cheese, carrots, onion, hotdogs and green pepper in the mixture aside from the ground beef I usually put. This is really tasty and the family loves it. Sometimes, I make meatballs just to put on top of each servings but that is when I am in the mood for more work in the kitchen. lol Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Actually, I am not a fan of spaghetti but since my hubby really loves to eat this,, I have to cook it once in a while. Well, I make meat balls to go with my spaghetti and the sauce? I just use the Spaghetti sauce in a can. I fried onions, then put little crumbles, then add the spaghetti sauce, green peppers, and 2 tbsp of sugar. I want the sauce to be sweet. Lol.. then I pour it over the spaghetti and meat balls will go with it. This will taste good to me.

Wow I envy you that you could have spaghetti more often. Anyway if you are getting tired of the usual meat sauce try looking for recipes with seafood or chicken. If you still like meat in your sauce you could get creative by adding crushed sausages instead of ground meat.

Hi TnWoman! I try alot of different things where spaghetti is concerned. I eat spaghetti in Louisiana once with chicken in it instead of beef...really good! I also take my finished spaghetti and put it in a cassarole dish and cover it with cheese..it's called baked spaghetti. I also use a white three cheese sauce by Ragu sometimes..kinda like an alfredo sauce. That is really good with the chicken too.

Ever since my mother got hypertensive and diabetic, we drastically changed our food choices at home. One of those was the sauce in our spaghetti since she can't really eat that much meat. For the sauce, instead of ground beef, I put grated carrots. So the consistency is like meat, only it is carrots. I also substitue tuna for the meat.

We have been having pasta and sauce a little more often than usual because it is cheaper. Some time I make a regular meat sauce and make like a beefaroni. Some time I make regular sauce and add some frozen meatballs (or make my own if I have time) Some times I make sauce with onions and red or orange peppers diced in and add Italian sausage. Another option that is close to spaghetti is chili...just add the seasonings and beans (or not if your family doesn't like beans) and serve over rice ...it's a change from pasta.

I make spaghetti in different ways. It is like a painter's blank canvas. For instance, aside from the usual red meat sauce, I tried substituting seafood (including shrimp, salmon, oysters and squid)or just lotsa Spam (cubed) instead of ground beef. Sometimes, I use white alfredo sauce and turkey meatball. Sometimes i combine heavy cream & condensed mushroom soup and toss in different kinds of mushroom. And at other times, I just toss the spaghetti on olive oil, add in some olives and sun dried tomatoes and top it with lotsa pepper and parmesan cheese. I know you can do better than your usual meat sauce! From the looks of it, you got so many responses that you can take note of. and ooh, if you like, instead of making garlic bread to go with your spaghetti, try making cheese sticks for a change! Enjoy your dinner!

I had Spaghetti tonight too! Tonight we had Ragu Spaghetti Sauce with ground beef in it over Spaghetti noodles with a garden salad and garlic bread. I used to fix it once a week but like you I got concerned that everyone was getting bored with it so now I use Alfredo Sauce sometimes instead of the Ragu. We love it though. I honestly don't think we can get tired of it! Also add a few chopped green peppers to it sometimes or mushrooms or both!

Fresh cream and mushrooms. Cream with red and yellow peppers. Tomato, olives, onion and garlic. You could also add aubergine. Pesto - coriander and basil.
