when you are in a hurry but still want some good home food, what do you turn to? i eat a lot of rice, so plain rice, yoghurt and some mango pickle does it for me, but i would like some other easy options.

How about some nice Pershian Burgers? I use ground chicken, grated onion, saffron, lemon juice and some sumac to make bugers in the oven or on a grill. I am not Pershian, but my mother lived in Iran for many years and learned a lot of interesting recipes there. I serve these burgers with basmanti ice and yogurt! Enjoy!

i think u are southindian and that to andhra person .by the way i am also from andhra. the combination of yogurt, mango pickle, rice i also like much and i too eat that when i am in a hurry .if i have less time or atleast 5 minutes, i will prepare lemon rice(pulihora) .and eat. if i want to prepare any curry ,if i have less time, i will prepare egg curry . i also prepare raw banana curry within 10 minutes.just making the banana in a slices.now i will make thalimpu(tadka) and in it i will add curry leaves ,sliced banana and add salt and fry it for 5 minutes and adds chilli powder to it ,fry it for 1 minute and remove from fire and serves hot with rice. this recipe we can do in a hurry within 10 minutes and can take with rice. we can also add lemon juice 1,2 spoons in this curry at last when we remove from stove.

HI Sunsham...., I am from India. and my favourite is the Tamarind rice (natively called as Puliyogare) ,,,, its really easy to make ,,we just need to have the the paste made already ,and then later when we require to make it... we just add rice to the required quantity of the paste ..and cook a little in oil... and its ready... its really spicy and sour and a little sweet..... goood Combination ... Cheers Vishwas

The fastest recipe i can prepare is Chicken Adobo, just mix all the required ingredients and cook. Delicious and so easy to prepare. If you don't know what is Adobo , it is a famous Philippine Dish. And my Indian Husband loves it very much.
