Chili Master from Hormel

I got this new product as one of my all time favorite foods is chili. This comes in a jar instead of a can so you can take out as much as you want and still store it. I got the Roasted Tomato.....and is it ever good! I really really liked it. So if you are looking for a quick meal this is just heat and serve! And it tastes good...not like some of the other canned chilis! Do you like trying new products or do you stick to your old time favorites?

I'll have to remember this when I am home alone and looking for something simple to make. I generally stick to my old time favorites. My husband wouldn't eat anything out of a can except soup so I'd have to pour the Hormel chili into a pot and pretend like I simmered it all day. He can be anal when it comes to food that is heat and eat.

That sounds so good and very convenient! I like trying new products, but I have to be careful of the sodium content. Glad you told us about it. I think I've seen it on the shelf but just never tried it.

I like to try new things sometimes. Especially if they look good. I don't normally buy canned chili since it is not all that good sometimes. I will have to look for the Hormel next time I go to the store and see if I like it better.

I don't know this product but I have made a note in my diary to buy some tins when i go to NC this month. It sounds yummy. I have'nt had a good chili for years. I love to try anything knew but with some reservations. I don't like escargot ec and am allergic to sea food. I could eat beef but not meat from any other animal. Mainly I try to eat vegetarian but I do lapse as I like pork. However, I have no digestion problems with eating vegetarian. Excellent post. Blessings

Mmmmmm, it sounds yummy! I will definitely try this one. Love Chili, and it's great you can take out as much as you want. I only stick to certain brands on particular items such as mayo, ketchup, stuff like that. But other than that, I'll try new food products if they sound good. And this one does!

Hey jill! Thanks for tip! I was looking at the chilis when I was at the grocery store and I saw the Hormel in the jar and all the others and I just wasn't sure if I should try it or not. So now that I got your seal of approval I will definitely try it! was leaning towards the Hormel so thank you for letting me know that it is good. I used to buy Campbells Roadside Chili in the cans but I can't find it anymore and those were really tasty.

I have to confess I always try out new products. When I see a new product it kind of shouts out "Buy me". I do love chilli and I will check it out, if it is available here.

I don't tend to buy product that are new when they first appear in stores. even if I like the type of product and trust the brand, i tend to shy away until i can hear some personal reviews of the item. This chili sounds pretty good though. You said you got the Roasted tomato? Does that mean there are several different flavor varieties? Do you remember what they were? I may have to go and pick some up as chili is a family favorite that we don't have too often.
