Dowsing Rods and Crystals

So I saw dowsing rods for the first time the other night when on a ghosthunt, they are strange things arn't they? The clairvoyant was passing them round for people to see for themselves but I would not hold them, dont know why but just wouldnt she told me that they were fine they had been cleansed but I do not know what that meant!!
Then she brought out this crystal on a chain, bit like a necklace and I chuckled because straight away I knew what she was going to do with it she holds it and asks it questions it swings one way for yes and another way for no, you see as a child I used to do the same thing with a necklace I had and I would ask it questions and it would tell me the answer. I did not know what it was of course it was just something I had discovered by accident. Anyway when the next day I dug this old necklace out that has this crystal thingy on it and tried asking some questions just simple things about somewhere I was going the next day I wanted to know if a certain person was going to be there, it said no. The next day that person was not there. Now I have asked it lots of things and so far it has been correct on everything, now I am not a believer in this sort of thing but find it all bizarre, so I am thinking that this discussion is more for those who know what I am on about, what is the thing with the necklace crystal called?
Have you ever tried anything like this with dowsing rods or a crystal pendant that you ask questions too and did it work for you?

I used to use a pendulum which I made myself to locate lost items. Due to the successes I was accused of hiding the lost items myself, to explain the reason how I managed to locate the exact spot. I have ceased dowsing due to this and other reasons. One major point is many people in my country attribute the successes to sorcery.

The dowsing rods are very strange I must say. I find the pendulum weird too, I mean the questions I have asked I have not known the answer too, the answers it has given me have so far all been correct, I think I need to look into it a little more before I come to any conclusions though as it could all be coincidence couldnt it?

Every object and every living thing is made up of the same building blocks which include the protn and electron. The combination and arrangement of these blocks make us different from each other. The movement of these particles create waves which are unique to each individual. We transmit and at the same time receive energy waves that are around us.
Many of us are sensitives. It was said that 1 in 4 is a sensitive in varying degrees. 1 in 20 have exceptional sensitivity. The rod and the pendulum help us to focus. Some say they also help to magnify the energy waves.
Since all the waves are intermingled, predictions of the future may give a wrong answer. That is why I am not into this. On the other hand locating something which is close by may be accurate because the energy waves are stronger.

The questions I ask are not to do with the future, more just things that are close to home kind of thing! So maybe that is why it seems accurate I shall keep experimenting!

I think you are alittle clairvoyant yourself. Most are just different strengthes. All the objects you spoke of are devining implements. Witches use the crystal to locate people or to determine how the things they are into will go. You must bring positive(or believe in other words) to things like this for it to work.

You should. You might want to check and see if there is someone in your community that could help you or give you some advice. I know i found a new age group many years ago that helped conciderably.

Dowsing rods are used quite often around here to find water, power lines, old underground copper lines. Most of the local farmers are quite adept at finding water with one and that's how many of the homes nearby chose where to drill wells for their water.
