How do you escape from the hurts of reality momentarily?

We know that running away from all the hurts of reality does no good. But we are just human, sometimes we feel vulnerable. Some people resort to drinking alcohol drinks to forget their problems momentarily. Some pig out, because it will make them feel better. How about you? HOw do you escape from the hurts of reality momentarily? Or do you directly face it? In my case, i just stay in my bedroom and hug my pillow. I really find comfort hugging my pillow. Also, I can think better and evaluate the situation so I can move one from all these hurts. And lighten up my heavy heart.

Everyday of my life seems very painful to me because of so many reasons, so I have to find escape sometimes to maintain my sanity. Most of the time I just surf the net and read books to lure my mind away from pain and hurts, or I will go to the mall and window shop so that my mind is tired when I come home and just sleep.

When I am feeling bad and when I feel like escaping from reality for a while, I have a few things that I often do. One of things which usually helps me is to spend some time with my pets. It is great ways to cheer me up and playing with them and spending time with them usually helps me. Writing is another thing that I often use. It helps me to write about my feelings and thoughts. It is often paiful to write about my problems and the things that make me sad, but it is my experience that writing about those things is a good thing. Writing often makes me realize exactly what the problem is and it helps me find a solution.

When I have some hurts in life ,I just try to forget it .Usually,I do something that is interesting to escape from the huts of reality,like playing with my little dog ,sowing a seed ,or going out to enjoy the beatiful Nature and so on. Life is so intresting and just enjoy it.
