My dog is scared of the rain

hello moneymommy lol Doughnut doesn't like to go outside in the rain either like that, but she loves to go outside when it is snowing. lol doesn't make sense, does it? and i do not think that the dogs think that they are going to drown thou. that is funny. lol i just think that dogs do not like getting their feet wet, at all. i was watching america's funniest home videos not long ago, and it showed a dog who jsut had to go outside when everything was wet, and he/she picked up his/her back feet and just walked on the front two feet, it was so funny looking. lol so i guess most all dogs do not like getting their feet wet. Doughnut needs her bath so bad right now, i need to get that done sometime this weekend, she comes back inside after being outside and she smells. ewww. take care and have a beautiful day today!

Mine hates the rain also, so does one of our cats, these are Oregon animals you'd think they'd get use to the wet. Other dogs and cats couldn't care less. One comes in soaks and just cry's until he's toweled off dry.

i donot have pets,as i live in an apartment where pets are not allowed.but i love.matbe he had some psychological trauma in the past.if not,it may just be a phase,he may outgrow it.

One of my dogs is not actually afraid of the rainbut she will not go out in it by choice. She must think she will melt

My cocker spaniel doesn't like going out in the rain but he has no choice. He will stand by the door crying until he realizes that no one is going to let him in. So he goes and does his business and comes and scratches on the door. He loves the snow though.

I have two dogs. One hates the rain and always looks to come inside if he can or will run to his kennel, its an absolute nightmare giving him a bath. The other dog has no problem with the rain at all.

no, the silly thing will go right out in it & get soppy wet & then i have to dry her off when she comes in.

My black lab mix is the same way he detests rain he wont go out in and you cant make him he wont even walk in wet grass my chocolate lab though loves the rain
