Are you going to miss Jay Leno when he signs off of the Tonight Show this spring? (I realize he's coming back in the fall to prime time...but I'm just talking about the late night show now) Also, when do you think Dave will retire? Wouldn't it be neat if Jay went on Dave's show the next night after he signs off the Tonight Show? I don't think it would be any worse than Phoenix interview this week. Could be a lot of fun.

Yes, I'll miss Jay when he goes off the air. Although I admit to looking forward to seeing Conan take over. I really like Conan's interview style. What a great idea, I would watch that show if Jay went on Dave's show... that would be awesome. Wasn't the Phoenix interview hilarious? Dave is a master in situations like that. I laughed and laughed.

yes, Dave is a master at the type of situation with Phoenix. Everytime I looked at it I get a different take whether or not he was acting. If he was, it was a very funny bit. If he wasn't, it is very sad and I sincerely hope someone is looking out for him. Remember his brother River and what happened to him!

I know that Jay Leno was gonna retire soon I had heard about it a few years back but I was not aware of it happening this spring. I do not watch late nite tv like I use too but he will be missed. I always liked Jay Leno and I like Conan as well. I know that he was suppose to take Jays place. Is that still suppose to happen? I am not sure but thanks for sharing this and I might start watching soon again before the Jay Tonite Show is no longer. Also did you know he tapes that show in the morning, just a cool fact I thought I would share with you. Happy mylotting and happy valentines day too! &;hearts

yes, Conan is taking Jay's late night spot. I believe it is to start as soon as Jay leaves. I don't regularly follow Conan (too late) but I believe he finishes his late night show at the end of next week.

I didn't know Jay Leno was retiring. I don't watch him all the time but I do every once and awhile. I think it would be really neat if he did go onto David Letterman's show.

I really do not like the late night talk shows anyway. They are too judgemental and they critize too many people for my tastes. So no I will not and would not miss them if they were all but gone from TV.

I did not see the Phoenix interview but I hear it was weird. I do not watch Jay but I do love Dave and would miss him if he leaves his show. I do love Conan and am looking forward to seeing him on the tonight show.

James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno - Leno was born in New Rochelle, New York on April 28, 1950. His mother, Catherine (née Muir), a filmmaker, was born in Greenock, Scotland, and came to the United States at age 11. Her schooling was limited and as a result she prized her children's success. His father, Angelo Leno, who worked in show business, was born in New York to immigrants from Flumeri, Italy.
Of course I will do miss Jay as he is a stand-up comedian, television host and as host of The Tonight Show since 1992, who succeeded Johnny Carson. But, in broadcasting world there are many hidden agendas for the sake of one TV station. I mean the gimmick orchestrated to boost up the number of viewers. I heard about Jay leaving the show since, in the last three (3) years.

I really enjoy Jay Leno. I think he is very classy, and that is hard to say for a late night TV show. Also, he doesn't try to make every interview about himself. The person I'm referring to shall remain nameless, but one of the talk show hosts always seem to try to turn the conversation to himself, any way for him to keep the spotlight. I don't know what they will do with Conan. He is very funny, but some of his bits are not fit for the timeslot of the Tonight Show. I think it would be nice to see Jay Leno visit David Letterman's show.

Are you kidding? I still miss Johnny Carson....No one has ever been able to fill his shoes yet, not even Jay Leno....

I will miss Jay late night. I dont care much for his replacement and I am not really a fan of David Letterman. I always liked the way Jay and the guests were together more like friends than guests. I wonder what and if his prime time show will be like and since NBC cant seem to find much good programing is this really too big a gamble? Variety shows have not done well in recent years.

It would be great if Dave would invite Jay onto his show. I remember when Dave would have Jay on his old NBC show in the beginning. It would be nice to recapture some of that old magic. I don't think Dave will retire anytime soon. He seems to be having fun doing his show.

Considering that Jay Leno replaced a legend like Johnny Carson....I think he has always been behind the 8-ball and there are some old-schoolers who never warmed up to Leno. In the beginning...I didn't like him but I gradually begin to warm up to Mr. Leno. I guess they will be a part of me that will miss his antics. He has done a pretty good job replacing Carson.

I won't really miss them. As I have gotten older I have found it hard to stay up and make it through the whole show anyway. There are so many talk shows late at night now that I don't think they are what they once were. That is just me though I am sure they have their loyal viewers.
