President Bush took a long weekend after 9/11 and the press was all over him for not staying in Washington to be on top of the situation. President Obama tells us that this is the worst crisis to face us an the Stimulus Package needs to be passed right away with out the usual political debate. Before the bill is approved by congress he is on Air Force 1 going on a long weekend and nothing is said. It is like this man can do no wrong to the press.

The press has gotten worse in the past 10 years. They do not even try to be fair or balance. They have a liberal agenda and they push it. I do not see them turning on Obama. They will ingore stuff he does that htey would have nailed Bush for and when he messes up they will spin it for him.

One major TV reported 9who was covering the Viet Nam War) was asked if he knew that a bomb was going to go off in a building used by US Service men would he warn them. He replied that his job was to report the news not prevent it. He would go and cover the bombing.

Well, you might as well get used to it. The press has already said that it is their job to make sure the 0bamunist succeeds... just as it must have been their job to make it look like Bush was a failure. I say the press has no idea what there job is... instead of keeping us informed, they have been the liberal propaganda ministry for many years. They have just upped the stakes a bit during this last coronation... er .. election.

Many years ago papers were founded to report a specific point of view, the difference is they were up front with the readers and people knew where they were coming from. Now we are told that what they report are the facts. They are putting the editorials on the front page as breaking news.

As I recall Bush was on vacation right before 9/11. Anyway, how can you possibly compare the attacks of 9/11 with the economic crisis, as bad as that may be? If you think it seems that President Obama can "do no wrong" to the press you must not have been watching much the past few days! Annie

President Bush was in Florida visiting a school before 9/11. Once on Air Force 1 he was flown around the country according to a security protocol. He was criticized for this because the press did not know where he was, which is exactly what it was supposed do.

I'm aware of where Bush was when the towers fell. I was referring to the month long vacation he'd just returned from right before 9/11. Annie

That's because Bush was hated by the media, and the media just loves Obama because "history" was made. I hear talk about nationalizing the banking industry! What's Obama trying to do?

Of course the Press is not fair, it's liberal and can only see Obama in a positive light while they hated Bush. I don't know how they get away with it. It's pretty disgusting.
