Cell Phone has become one of the basic needs of the life. It also become very cheap. For every part of our life it is become necessity. Somebody are using it for style, some for communication and some for messages, GPS,banking, internet, etc.. there are so many. I even have seen so many beggars who were carrying cellphones. So, Can you live in this present world, without having a cellphone?

Of course I can, and I am actually doing that right now, living without a cell phone. I am cheap, and I would rather not spend the money on having a cell phone, I enjoy not having to worry about that kind of bill coming in the mail. I am just about 19, so it is unusual that I do not have a cell phone. I am fine without it though, I have not spoiled myself with one yet haha. I only know one other person my age that does not have one. It's funny, I do not really feel weird not having one, it is just normal for me I guess to use a home phone. It's nice to not have everyone bother me though haha, liberation!

Sometimes I wish I also wouldn't have one ;) It is great to feel free, when nobody actually can reach you.

Hi there prashanth,,,, hmmm ,interesting question, and i know how it feels like to be without one,,, .It sort of like a phase.I had given my Nokia N73 music edition for servicing in the priority .They had told that ,it will bbe serviced within 2 days. For the first two days i was really eager to get my mobile back ,it was a sick feeling to be without it.After 2 days when i visited them ,they told I would be getting it after 1 week,,, which made me really furious..i literally wanted to club their shop in my own hands,,, later ,, i controled myself.....I started regretting as to why I had given it .After a week i went back ,and this time the person says it will take another 1 month,,,,This time calmness prevailed in me , i knew this is going to go on ... so i only asked him what deadline he wants ,so that he can service it in a good condition and give it back........So it went like this,,,,,,, You see its been 2 months that i had given the mobile and just last week he gave me a call to take it ...... This is the Mixed Emotion that goes on in anyone,,i guesss,,,, Cheers Vishwas

Nowadays the cell phone has became the basic need of the life wherever we go we carry cell with us and even when we sleep it is kept beside as any call messages or for the alarm purpose it is kept. All the hawkers and even street children were seen with cell phone. Happy posting and have a nice day.

I don't think I can live with out a cell phone because my cell phone is the only phone I use. We don't have a house phone because we saw no point in getting a house phone if we already had cell phone it would just be another bill we would have to pay. I think I would be lost with out my cell phone even though I don't talk on the phone all that much if I lost my cell phone I would only know one number and that's my hubby he the person i talk to the most, but if he didn't pick up the phone I would not know who to call next. So I can be with out my cell phone!

To tell the truth I couldn't! However, there was one person I was studying with, who was against cell phones, computers and TV's. He looked kind of strange student, with long hair, many earrings, black clothes. It looked like he was smoking some "bad thing". Well, I do not know if he using all of those appliancies now, because he left the university after a month of studies.. all in all, how can you study without a computer? =D

I dont think you could live in this world today with out a cell phone. So many things require to have one, if your working alot of compaines even pay for you to have a cell phone and then some companies only use cell phones. I know without minei wouldnt be able to talk to alot of people. At my house we barely even use the house phone anymore only people that call that phone are people trying to sell stuff and that is just ridiculous and really annoying so my cell phone is what i rely on most of the time. Cell phones are the way of lie now and you even see young kids on them. I think at age 15 is the right age to have someone carry a cell phone because that age is when you should be allowed to go out with friends to the moves or mall any younger age is to young and children are quit ready for what the world has to over them.

If I had to I would.. But having a cell make things run smoother in my life being a mother of five I am constantly on the go, So a home phone while at home is great but I do everything on my cell and tend to use it more than the home phone that we have. LOL!! Have a nice one.

In present days i cannot live without a cellphone. When i see beggars having cellphone.I get mad at them.If i don't have a cellphone in my hand.We need phones nowadays for the basic talking and messaging feature. Also we can listen to music during long boring journeys. We can also lay games if we are bored. We can also take pictures and videos of special moments.

I don't rely on my phone for work so I think I could easily live without one. On the other hand if you were to take my laptop away my life would just stop!

I don't think I can live without a mobile phone nowadays. Though there aren't many messages or phone calls, mobile phone is the most direct and convenient way for communication. Without it, I will feel isolated and lonely, also a sense of insecurity.

Yes you could but society has become so reliant on technology especially cell phones. If you were to live without a mobile or cell phone you would probably be seriously disconnected from your friends or people that you need to stay in contact with. I've noticed that society has been getting into the texting form of communicating and I think that's because a lot of people are afraid of talking to each other in person or face to face. It's easier for people to say what they want to say when it is written out or in a text form like text messages are.

I know that most of my life was spent without having a cell phone. Still I can't imagine my life without it now. I don't use it continously -just as an emergency. I have had to use it for just those times. If I didn't have it I don't know what I would have done. I'm not one of those people who talk on the phones everywhere and loudly so as to annoy everyone around them. I've even seen signs at offices and delis that customers should turn off the phones before speaking with anyone at the counter. To me that's just common courtesy but I'm guessing that enough people have not displayed even that simple courtesy.

surely i can live without mobile or cell phone in case everyone don't use them mobile and cell phone just is a tool which make our life easier, faster and more convenient. But they didn't replace the people's life itself. Didn't we live very well before mobile or cell phone were developed?

I am 32 years old and have never had a cell phone. If they can't leave a message on my home phone I guess it wasn't too important to reach me.

Cellphones have now become an integral part of our life indeed. Without mobile phones, no one can live. Thats the present condition. But now a days, things have changed a lot.Just a mobile phone is not enough. Everybody needs GPRS also in their cell phones so that no limit for enjoyment. If you ask me, never. I cannot live without it. Infact, i cant be without a cellphone with GPRS enabled in it. In other sense, it is a dire need to continue our work anytime anywhere.

cell phones have become part and parcel of our life we can see people talking on cell at various places and its is also useful for messages and also giving presentations and with the bluetooth facility we can also tranfer files from one celll to another it can also be used for entertainment like games music and watching videos so now a days a person cannot live without a cellphone in his life.
