I have to sweep my lower level of my house everyday. With three kids lots of little crumbs and such get dropped. I mop about once a week. I will do it more if it needs it, but it usually gets done once a week.

Well i dont sweep, i whip out the hand vac for spot pick ups through the day, and then whenever i vacuum my carpet (cpl times a week) i will use the attachment hose to pick up what crumbs or whatnot might be on the floor. we have a small place so we only have bathroom floor, kitchen, and hallway that are tiled(all of which are rather small) i mop at least once a week and spot mop if there is a spill

Living with 3 big dogs and living on the beach means sweeping and mopping every day . Two hours after I've cleaned the floors they look dirty again, but that's a part of life here. I wouldn't trade it with anyone .

I sweep at least once per day. Right now with all of the snow we have, I usually mop everyday too. I also always try to throw a load of laundry in the washer every day in order to make my housework easier.

Hi, ladym33. I have three kids too. And I have to sweep about every couple of days or so. Most of the time, I have to sweep everyday or so. I usually will mop every week or two weeks. With how the floors in the front room get so dirty, I may have to mop every week as well. We don't have any rugs at all nor carpet in this apartment. It makes my job much harder.

I have to vacuum and sweep every day. Our little doggy sheds so much! It drives me crazy, but I love him anyway :-) Between the dog and the rest of the family, we really seem to make messes on the floor. So, I try to keep up with it by sweeping the kitchen every day and vacuuming the hot spots on the floor.

I sweep my floors that need to be sweeping, daily. I mop those same floors 3 to 4 times a week. They don't take long because only the kitchen, and the two bathrooms have floors that need it. The rest of the house is carpeted, which get's vacumed 4 to 5 days out of the week.

my son does it for me, because I am disabled, I am lucky if he does it once a week, but we are just two adults.

The kids do the mopping about once a week. It is their chore to wash all the hard floors in the house but being kids it occasionly does not get done. My kids also have their own broom and dustpan set that they use and they sweep as it needs it which is when they make a mess.

It depends on how often we are home and who is home. It also depends on the weather. We live in the country so if it is muddy then it seems that I am always sweeping and mopping. I don't mind it most of the time, but I get tired of the mud being in here so much.

I sweep pretty often too, not every day, but only when I can see a bunch of stuff that I just don't want to pick up by hand. I only mop when there is a spill.

I sweep and mop my downstairs everyday, sometimes twice a day. I live at the beach, have dogs and tile floors. If I skip a day it looks like it hasn't been done in a month. However, my upstairs, no one sees that but my husband and I so I might only do it once or twice a week.

Sometimes I have to sweep 2 - 3 times in one evening, depending on how much of a mess my kids make. We have a dog, so his hair gets all over the floor too. Some nights when I get home from work I don't feel like doing anything after making dinner, doing the dishes and making lunches for the next day, so I leave it for Saturday when I sweep and then mop. Once a week, realistically then, I guess.
