I had a horrible night mare last night

Does anyone know how to analyse dreams?
Last night I had a horrible nightmare. It was late spring so it was nice outside and it was early evening, but we had the soloid doors open and the screen doors closed, sort of to air out the house. I got kind of a tingle that ran through me and decided to lock the doors. I locked the front door, deadbolt and all. as I travelled to thru the house to the back to lock that one up, I thought I saw movement in the driveway thru the window, but I couldn't be sure. I got to the back of the house and locked the door just as the man arrived at the back door. He smashed in the window and reached for me and started feeling for the door handle in order to open the door and come in the house. I screamed, which woke my husband up and he shook me awake, but I couldn't get back to sleep after that.
So what does it mean?

Wow your dream looks like one of those thriller movies. I just hope you have recovered from that dream. Well it might just be something that is bothering your wake up time. So I guess you just have to calm down and if you really like to have it interpreted I found this link www.dreammoods.com. I usually go there if ever I found dreams that are so vivid and all of that.

It took a while to get back to sleep.
I think I am just stressed. Money issues, just bout a house a couple of months ago, a couple of the kids are sick, my dad was hit by a car last week. Stuff like that.

I'm no psychologist, but my guess would be a reaction to your dad's accident. Your parents are supposed to be your safe haven, and when something happens to them, your feelings of safety and secure are shaken. Add that to your new house, and stress, and you've got a nightmare. And an awful one, it sounds like!! I hope things look up for you soon!

woww... that is really a scary dream... i'm not a dream expert and i can't interpret a dream... but all i can tell you is just to think positively... may be it is simply just a dream and nothing more than that... so please don't worry too much... i do hope that you will have a nice dream tonight though... take care and have a nice day...

I don't really know but it sounds like a horrid dream! Perhaps you're worried about things, like money, and are afraid they will take over your life. That's usually what is meant when you have dreams of being chased or your house broken into.
I hope you have nice dreams tonight! That one sent a shiver down my spine.

Thanks for that, I hope my dreams are sweet tonight too. Yeah, I have been stressed lately, so that is probably it.
I dream very vividly, even when they are good dreams. Technicolour and dolby 5.1 surround sound, and smellivision. lol

there are dream interpretation sites on the internet where u can look words up and try to figure out ur dream. i always try it for fun, but i am not good at it. i think dreams are interesting. they are trying to tell u something in a surreal way.

Wow!! That does not sound like the type of dream I would like to have. I know for sure that would keep me up for sure. I am not sure whether that might be a sign to be more cautious or what, but all I do know is I am hoping that something like this would never happen for you or anyone else, as this would be the worse kind of nightmare for sure.

You are afraid of something, could be a hidden fear that you have. I get those dreams sometimes, where I am losing everything or someone is coming into my house, and it is all from fear.

I don't know how to analyze dreams, so I don't know what it means, if anything at all. We all have some frightening dreams from time to time.
If you ask me, nightmares are healthy. I believe they serve the purpose to ensure that we always have a healthy fear when it is necessary. If we never experienced fear, we could get ourselves into some nasty situations. However, with a healthy fear of certain things, our intuition and instincts can tell us when we need to get out of a certain situation.
As for direct meaning though, I have no idea.

I'm not anything special when it comes to defining the meanings of dreams and I think to really find the true meaning the person that has the dream will be the only one that can correctly tell what the dreams meaning is. That's the beauty of dreams though that sometimes they mean nothing at all and they are just something that your brain created while you were asleep. I think that this dream could mean that there's going to be some kind of intrusion in your life or perhaps that you need to take more precaution but don't quote me. There are plenty of dream dictionaries that have lots of meanings of dreams defined for you and one of those may be helpful for you.

hehe,,,it means nothing...those are just reflections of your own thought...the more you think about a thing ur prone to dream about it..ur inner conscience repeats that often which will result in dream

To analyze your dream, House means which you own, your belongings, property any things involves with you. Movement in the drive way means fast things, movement, or a person whose running fast, dropped by. And smashed your windows means hatred, he/she hates you, Reached for you means he/she likes something from you that he/she likes to take it away from you. In short, There is a person whose mad with you and there is something about you that he/she likes to get it from you or took it away from you that's belongs to him /her before. So now he/she want it back.
NOTE: Not all dreams are true and inaccurate. But dreams gives you warnings from the future or near future. Happy lotting!

Hi,I dont know how to analyse dreams but its said that whtever u think of or read ..is their in one corner of your mind.And that comes in the dreams...
I might be wrong about it but thts happened with me.I'll jus give a lil example bout a dream tht came to me yesterday night..I had wished to have chocolates..and for some reasons I couldn't & this was it ..I got a dream tht very night when i ws fast asleep.I was stuffing my mouth with all my favourite chocolates...oooooooo
