Not to sound offensive but I guessed you were Indian. I read an article a while back that said people in India believed the fights/and wrestling in general was real. Well Sorry to break it to you, but there is barely anything in it that is. Admitedly there is a lot of realistic things such as Injuries, the fans and so on, but the actual physical contact with the particular moves isnt real...put it this way..."Do you think, that you would live through having your, head dropped on the floor/mat if, someone gave you the Tombstone Piledriver of Pedigree" just think like that...because I certainly belive it isnt real/know it. Yeah, I did believe it was real once, a lot of kids do, but parents should tell them otherwsie once, they get to a certain age, I was told kind of, by my father - logically it is impossible to keep on wrestling if you get dropped on your head via a Tombstone, Pedigree or get thrown on ur back by a Chokeslam every night...It'd either kill you or you would have severe injuries.

Well I hate to break it to you but it is a show. They work really hard to get what I call dance moves down. My brother is a WWE freak and if though he knows it is not real he still loves it. I mean when wrestlers die that is real but as far as really fighting they are not. I know they do a good job of peforming I think but I never really got into the shows myself. Happy mylotting:)

I have to say that it's a fake, but they are trying to make it as real as possible.. lol =D Those stunts and blood are for real, but props and fights are all fake.. Even matches, winners are all staged and there's absolutely no animosity among them.. All of them are actually good friends just like, John cena and randy orton.. lol =D

We watch it all the time, My husband calls it a soap opera for men...........What do you mean by fake......Its a form of entertainment.. It is all set up ahead of time. They can get hurt. They have to work out and be in good shape, are they really fighting like in boxing..I don't think so.

We have been a few times back when our son was younger, it was back when stone cold was popular. We also have had the opportunity to meet the big show. He was at a car dealership signing autographs. My favorites are The heart break kid, and john cena, My husband likes triple H , and Batisita.

Of course its fake! Although there are numerous injuries..that are real..the majority of it is fake and all planned out in advance. Its a storyline..which gets our attention and makes us even more excited to watch it the next show to see what is going to happen next.It is very entertaining to watch and I agree that professional wrestlers have to have years of training to do the moves they do, but the majority of what we see on tv is absolutely fake!Serious injuries could occur though.

That is issue is so way way back and some people are still unsure if the show is for real or not. My brothers who are avid watchers of wrestling said that the show is fake. They are only hired actors! Hehe! But they do hurt themselves especially when the stunts went wrong.

I love wrestling as far as being real or fake.. They are trained really while to do what they do out there but they still have there life on the line one mistake and they can and do get hurt.

some of its fake and some of its not in my opinion.. i mean no matter what they have to be skilled in being able to pull off the moves and they do get seriously hurt in real life SOMETIMES so obviously that wasnt fake.. but they do fake a lot of the injuries and they have mastered the moves to where they all look like they hurt even if they dont.. so acting or not they still are skilled in one way or another.. i think they get hurt often enough to make me feel its not totally fake lol

hii raj..iam also an indian and i wanted to know this for a long time now...i thought it was fake at first but when i see the crowds coming to watch them i get a feeling that it may be real...but now i'am clear...it is 100% fake..the wrestlers moves pre determined and its like performing in a show after rehearsals...

Calling wrestling fake is an insult to people that are in the business. Think of wrestling as a magic show, it is all planned out but there is still a sense of danger. Sure the show is scripted, most of the wrestlers are friends, and they do plan out some spots in matches, but wrestling does have it's real side. When a wrestler gets injured chances are it is real unless it is part of a storyline. If the WWE shows footage of surgery then the injury is real, but if a guy says he's injured and comes back a week later it is fake. The risk the wrestlers take is real and people should respect them for what they do. Wresting is entertainment and people need to realize that. I have been a fan of wrestling since I was 5 years old and to this day I still watch it on Monday and sometimes on Friday. When I hear people say wrestling is fake and is not a sport, I get a little offended because they don't know the real side of the business. I hope finding out wrestling is staged does not effect the way you see wrestling. If you like watching wrestling, watch it and don't pay attention to what people say about it. I hope my post clears some things up for you, if you want to know a specific thing about wrestling let me know. Oh and it's nice to see an Indian wrestling fan posting. I hear wrestling is pretty popular over there.

I came to know it was fake when i saw a show that discovery channel had put up with the help of WWE stars in which the stars said that they rehearse the stunts for their next show well ahead of time and showed some footage of them practicing with safety equipments first and then removing it when they had mastered the moves.

Initially I use to think that these shows are real. But now after seeing one of the tv shows I know its only a drama and nothing else. It was a news channel in which they disclosed that underneath the wrestling ring they put a matress, below that, springs all over and a mic too.And this creates a great impact on the audience witnessing this kind of show where everything is planned before hand and all kind of prevention measures are taken.Ofcoz WWE show is fake haaaaa ..... Happy mylotting :)
