A fourth Pirates

I have read some reports that a fourth Pirates in in the works. Heard it will not be a continuation of the first 3. Looking forward to it though. Has anybody heard anything more about this?

I had a feeling that there would be a 4th movie. But I thought it would be a continuation. Cant wait to see what they come up with.

There's a fourth one with a date of 2012 listed on IMDb, but no other details as yet.

i heard that contracts only went to three movies. from the very beginning they said that there would only be 3. i don't know if i believe that there is going to be a 4th and if there is i don't know how good it's going to be. the first one was amazing and they all kind of went downhill from there.
