I now have to use decaffeinated as I am sensitive to caffeine . I stopped using sugar in my coffee a long time ago as I was getting sugar damage to me teeth. Everytime you take a drink of sugar it is like liquid candy and can damage your teeth, plus I do not need all those calories. I do not like my tea or coffee with sugar anymore I have drunk it without for so long and it is more refreshing without. I put in some milk as I got used to that, although occasionally I will get cream by mistake in a restaurant and I will drink it that way.

I've heard people claim they can taste the caffeine in coffee. Do you find that to be true? Can you taste a cup of coffee and tell whether it's de-caf or not? Coffee and sugar definately cause damage to your teeth, I should probably follow your example.

Good for you to put a two cup limit on it. I will get there. I used to drink two pots, now I am down to 1! Strong and Sweet....I'm with you there. Thanks!

I usually drink coffee at work. I like putting in the flavored creamers. On occassion such as I did this morning, I bought coffee at the gas station, english toffee since I got up at 830 and didn't have a chance to fix a cup before leaving out.

When getting coffee at gas stations, I like to mix the regular coffee with the cappuccino. Usually they only charge you for a regular coffee. Also, at gas stations, I've had my big thermos filled for only 65 cents. They would charge it as a refill! I didn't make coffee at home for quite some time when I had that deal going on.

Well, as long as you are getting it daily, it's all good! So many different ways of preparing an excellent beverage!

wow. That's hardly any at all! You must hardly ever have to buy sugar and creamer! :)

i actually spent years working in a restaurant cleaning coffee cups so all day i had to smell coffee so i kind of built up a hatred for the smell of coffee i dont drink it like to get my caffeine from others sources but im sure a lot of people like it i know my fiancee's mother makes some every morning and some ppl can not live without it no matter what time of year it is either winter or summer cant really understand why you would want something hot in the summertime but each person has their preferences i guess

That's funny because I ask myself that question every morning in the summertime. Also, I used to work in a deli. I used to hate cleaning out the coffee pots and the coffee machines. People are slobs when they haven't had their fix yet. There would be coffee, creamer, sugar, napkins, stirrers, you name it, all over the place! I still like coffee, but, I try to leave the self serve area a little cleaner than when I got there if I'm getting it out.

My husband and I are both coffee lovers. We love it no matter what, it can be from dunkin donuts or starbucks, it can be instant or brewed, we will still drink it =)
But of course, we have preferences. 80% of the time, our coffee is brewed at home. We buy beans and I grind it and brew some in the morning. Hubby likes his coffee black and strong- no sugar, no cream. I like mine pretty strong too, with half pack of splenda, a tsp of non-dairy creamer and a stick of cinnamon to stir it...

Nice! I've been known to add cinamin as well. Nutmeg in Winter. Dunkin Donuts is my favorite place to go out for a quick cup, so good.

I am not much of a coffee person but I do drink coffee when I feel like it. I usually order for a cappuccino when I am outside in a cafe. At home, I add lots of milk, little coffee and moderate sugar. Everyone else in my family are coffee addicts and they want it strong. They usually order for double esspresso. We also happen to grow coffee in our estate back in my native place and home made coffee is the best.

Wow, that's interesting! I've never had homegrown coffee! Oh, it must be so fresh. You got me wanting to move to Guatemala or something now. Anyways, whenever I go out to a coffee shop, I will order a double vanilla latte.
