I speaks to faraway friends by telephone. Landline that has long distance service. I like my cable service because I get a bundle deal and pay what I would have for the service through Qwest and had to pay for seperate LD program.

whats the need to run to std booths these days or use landline phones even, almost all people use mobiles these days and one can speak happily on mobile itself right? i use my mobile to speak with far off friends, it doesnt cost much also, sometimes my friends call me and sometimes i call them. there are many means of communication these days which makes the far off friends feel nearer and makes us feel as if there is less or no distance infact between friends. Internet chat is also there where we can speak over phones for hours together without any cost.

This is the age of Information Technology. The farthest ones are the nearest ones like situation has come to stay. As there is an easy access to mobile phone and as I have ISD facility too surely I take the help of this to get connected and and spak with my far away friends or relatives.

My girlfriend and I have been doing a long-distance relationship for almost three years now. She's in Michigan USA, and I'm in Brisbane, Australia. We spend about 3-6 months a year together, alternating between countries. For the rest of the miserable time which we have to be apart, we talk via webcam chat online, or I phone her on my cell phone. I get decent rates and it only ends up costing me about $5 for a 20 minute call.
