Is it possible to fall in love with someone you haven't seen in person? There are a lot of people who have found their true love through chatting and social networks. I have this neighbor who is married to a guy she met in the web. They had constant communication for a year and the guy decided to visit her here in the Philippines and after a year they decided to get married. Is that luck or destiny? Now, they are still together with 3 children and I can see that they are really happy. So, in your case, do you think you can have a decent and serious relationship online? If ever that you get romantically involved with a person online, would you take it seriously or would you just treat it as something that would never last and that you should not be so serious about it? Me, I can't really tell now because I haven't been in that kind of situation. It sounds so crazy for most of us that there are some people who get into online romance. I really don't know... Haha! Guys and gals, gays and lesbians, please share your insights about this. Cheers!

Yup, that is very possible. I fell in love with someone online back in 1999. She's a girl from Turkey. We both fell in love that we treated eachother as true lovers. I also had few real girlfriends who first became my chatmate. We do chat on a regular basis then meet up. We eventually became a couple but unfortunately, we didn't last.

Yes, it is.. i've met my hubby through an exclusive website, i wouldn't mention the name of the site anymore.. =) When i first saw hubby, i instantly fell in love with him.. i felt that we are destined to be with each other so i sent him a private messagge, saying "hi, how are you doing?" i didn't expect to receive a reply from him as there more gorgeous girls out there.. but hey, after two days, i've received a response saying "hi, i'm doing good".. then we started to exchange messages and then after a week or so, my hubby asked for my digits.. i gave him my number and we became text mates.. =) after the "getting to know stage" we decided to meet up somewhere in the south.. then after few dates, we became an official couple.. =) yey! but there were few twists and turns during first few months but after a year, we settled everything.. thank God! =) we would be celebrating our fourth anniversary next month =)

Fall in love in someone's online communication that can happen. If someone communicated with high intensity, the opportunity to establish a serious of course can happen. But I have never had experiences like that.

Its posible but its difficult because you don't know the background of that person. You need to be careful.

I dont know if I could fall for someone that I havent met in person, but the net would be a great place to get to know someone, to see if said person is worth your time meeting. I think you have to be real careful how deeply you get involved with someone that you met online, people online may not always be what they appear to be. I dont see anything wrong with meeting up with people that you've met online as long as your careful, but as for falling for them without meeting them, personally, I dont think I could do it. Hugs, Tianna

Yes it's possible to fall in love w/ an online date. I met my husband through internet chatting in one of the exclusive sites and we we're communicating for almost a couple of years before finally tying-the-knot. I would say it's still the same w/ some normal relationships only that you are not physically attached to each other. And I believe it's destiny, not just a chance; it's something to be taken seriously like any relationships.

It is possible but you have to keep in mind that most of the people are going around or only fooling around, even if the relationship might be serious at the moment you will realize it was just for fun.there only a few genuine cases around. especially if you don't know who the other person is there is no credibility and this provides a perfect platform for anyone to get a good time without much commitment. so even if you find someone online don't keep your hopes on it because it is more likely to break your heart rather than the get a partner. Having said that people have found true love online and are still together.so the bottom line is that everything depends on people.if you are destined for your love then you will find love.Online or not at some point it is all about the real world isn't it?
