Dad or mom?

Who do you get along better with, your dad or your mom or neither? I would say that I am very different from my parents... or my parents are really weird.. in good and bad way. I say I can somehow get along better with mom, but we have different opinions about a lot of things. The same goes for my dad too. What about you? Who do you get along better with or don't you ever with either?

I get along with my mother alot better. My father and I do not get along at all, we do not even talk anymore. When my parents divorced a few years ago my father divorced me as well. O well his loss. I would say my mom is my best friend, I can tell her anything and have allways been really close to her.

I don't understand why some parents can act so childish like that. I'm sorry you had to deal with that, but I'm glad your mom is understanding. Best wishes.

I get along with my mother much better than I get along with my dad. My dad and I do not get along at all. In fact I recently cut off all contact with him. He is a toxic person and being around him is not good for anyone, especially my kids.

I'm sorry your dad has to be so 'toxic'. I hope he realizes why you had to cut your ties. Best wishes.
