Hi,
The Most common cause behind Sinusitis is Allergy.Find the allergens out(if possible),in that case getting rid of the source will take U out of Sinusitis.
In between, try out the following:-
a)Use normal saline spray to keep the passage moist(often dry passage gives rise of sinusitis).
b)DONOT drink iced drinks/iced tea etc.
c)Workout outdoors.(keep circulation normal).
d)Take 4-5 hot showers/day.
e)Close window at night,of Ur bedroom.Keep Ur head elevated, while sleeping.
f)take a warm compress around Ur ear-nose-throat, to keep pain in control.
Consult an ENT specialist, avoid antihistamines-use decongestants.

Yes, the key is to keep your sinuses open. I am on antibotics now for a sinus infection. You need to know if you are allergic to somethings also. I have year round allergies, but I do know which ones make me worse. So take an antihistamine, or sinus pills as soon as you feel the pressure coming on. Also the new thing is those netti pots which is gross, because essentailly you pour saline solution up your nose, but it does work. They also sell saline sprays. I also keep Vicks near my bed, it helps also keep me clear. I was so bad last week, i could not put my left earon the pillow, and my doctor said my ears were clear, my sinuses were the problem.
