I would often contemplate on going to far off places with no fixed destinations .Planning a tour of tourist attractions is definitely not on the agenda. It would be somewhat of an adventurous nature - reaching unknown places and looking up at life over there.Wouldn't it be quite an exciting experience?

I love to get into my car and just start driving with no destination in mind. I find the most interesting little towns and beautiful countryside! I enjoy meeting new people in those towns and seeing new things.

I hope I didn't receive the wrong message from this post. This two words 'no fixed destination' and 'looking up at life over there' sounds to be quite weird to me. I am curious what you are really trying to relay to the readers here. This sounds that your hope in life is diminishing? This needs a little elaboration from you Suku.

Thanks for the nice response,Zandi. By 'no fixed destination', I meant only starting on a journey to an unknown or unplanned destination. Just alighting a bus without knowing to which place it is scheduled would be great fun!. On reaching the place where the journey of the bus ends, it would further raise your curiosity in observing human activity at that particular place.Maybe my imagination goes beyond normal thinking.

I usually read travel books and buy a flight to a specific destination. Then I travel around a region often visiting a few places off the beaten track. I adore adventures and think it sounds very appealing just to go off and explore. There are some places where it would be delightful fun to look around and meet the local people that might not have seen many travelers before. However it would have to be a safe trip. I know the area between Panama and Colombia is really dangerous for example but it has tempted some explorers.

It is a lifestyle some venturers take with determination. It should not be an excuse for evading the current. Venturing is appreciatable, unless he gets well prepared both physically and intelligently. He needs to possess a strong personality to endure all the hardships thought of and unthought of and the worst feeling of loneliness. The means to keep alive, and safety tips. The list is endless. Life is to be enjoyed. Set out for such venturing only when you are committed to enjoying the risk.

We sometimes take short drives like that, and it is fun, as long as I can keep my mind off of what I think I need to do at home or work. I enjoy spending time like that with my husband.

That sounds good for some, but not for me..I always have to be at a place that i can make a connecton with someone i know..I would be afraid, but thats me....I like to be around familiar places or in far away places with a person i would know well...I have heard others say this same thing you just said ..I would say you are way more adventurous than I am...

Yes, there is something very appealing in that sort of journey to me. I often dreamt about doing that as a kid. And when I was around 14, I wanted to go off with a friend of mine, but my parents would not allow it. Since then, I guess I've never really got around to doing it.. Life sort of got in the way. . It would be a great added value when we do tour to any place categorized as "tourist spot" with our own business objective. Meaning that, we are doing 2-in-1 for our spending and future investment. It just like spending our money to buy medicine and at the same time it rewards the remedial effect to our body. Same thing like, we see and we learn. Doing things without objective, of course will left us behind.

it would defimitely be great to do that but the thing is a time comes when you begin to have the feeling of nostalgy and at this point the whole fun of the adventure wears out on you
