What improvement would you like to see in Mylot?

Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys have any suggestion to Mylot so that they could improve their website and attract more users. Something that would be beneficial for all of us.
I'll start. I would like to see Mylot having a feature like you could get to see users that are online. That would be great

While I am grateful for the site, I really hope hearing the users will be part of the admin's work. I suggest it gives a room for users' suggestion and give feedbacks regularly as some of the others are doing. Editing is certainly the upfront issue for me. Another is the moderation on some sensitive discussions to avoid unfriendly atmospheres kicked out some users.

One big improvement for me would be to add a spelling checker.I have to always be looking up words as my spelling is poor.hopefully they will add that to the site and another thing I would like that we could edit our entry if we wanted to add something or remove something.

Yes I agree with you. I think it is good to see who's online. Well for me first I would like to appeal for an increase in their payment. I have been very patient until now that I am four months here even if sometimes I have been thinking of giving up. Second I would like mylot to count properly the postings I have been submitting. I have responded and the number beside my name is 580. Then when I responded the following day it was 579. I wonder why that happens? Mylot must explain that too. Third I would like them to explain in a very clear manner how they compute the pay they are giving us. I know it is confidential and so we should only be the one to see our earnings being computed. Those are the things I would like mylot to do. Peace!

Hi Yori! I agree with you that there should be transparency on how they're computing the earnings and they really pay a little, it's just needs a lot of hard work to earn extra. Thanks for responding and hope all these things could really bring in to Mylot admin's attention.

myLot should avoid the rating features..it will attract more users to share their views without any fear...
it should have some background colors...
it should increase the payout level...
if all these features exist, many users will be attracted..

Those are helpful. Their site may seem to be a little simple so it would be more cool if they add a bit of design to webpages. I think though that the rating feature is a good idea 'cause it's some sort of reward to those who gives effort to do quality responses.

i would like them to lower the requirement on being able to paste. its so inconvenient to retype all over again the words i have written before and then it got lost due to timeout. =(

Hi dutchess!
I think first and foremost, myLot must FIX all the glitches. By doing that it would improve the value of the place to great extent. Then, I would like it to introduce some kind of bounties, like declaring and acknowledging the USER OF THE MONTH or introducing performance bonus for consistent users who maintain the decorum of the place and stuffs like that...
We all love this place and little innovation, little appraisals would make this place wonderful!

Well, I was just wondering really if maybe others might give some great suggestion to the site to make them more appealing but of course, Mylot as it is right now is great, that I should say. A chatroom and a Facebook link are good suggestions. Thanks!

I wish I could do that, too like right now, I just made a mistake and I won't be able to correct it 'cause it doesn't have editing feature. Hope that they'll add that soon.

I think the editing idea is great. I would like to see more money for each post. We have to work so hard just to earn payout, which i'm still trying to reach. I think they could at least pay more for our efforts. And I don't like that you have to have so many posts before you can use smileys or post links, but I guess it gives people something to look forward to. I could also get use to the online now thing if they were to do that. Great discussion, happy mylotting.

Hehehe..I'd like a raise in pay per respond..it'll be more encouraging to respond. I do admit that its fun venting out discussions here and getting replies which are helpful in many ways and educating...but the pay is rather a put off at times..even when I actually try to invite others to join, I guess people feel its not worth the effort. And I'd like to see if there's a response towards the responses which I have put in. Currently, I actually go through my responded list, just to check if there are responses from the "composer" of the a particular discussion, especially if its something I'm interested to keep updated with.. :)
I guess that's most of what I can think of now.. thanx for bringing this up.
