I am making OOAK (one of a kind) doll clothes for my OOAK babies that I make. I made an outfit to just sell by itself on ebay for those who buy clothes for thier OOAK babies, it hasn't gotten a bid yet but it does have watchers.
I made jeans,a onesie and two hats and a blankie all to fit a 5 inch doll. I am attaching pics. I am making a sleeper and blankie and hat set for a boy baby right now again for a 5 inch baby.
What do you think?
Have you ever done these?

I've never heard of One of A kind babies. But those little outfits and the blankie looks adorable! lol! Plus if the person who receives them doesn't want the blankie as a blankie they can use it as a pot holder or dish cloth too! My mom used to make doll clothing and dolls, you know the kind you piece together and stuff their bottom? Those kind. I've looked at a few pieces of doll dresses and such and think they are adorable, am considering possibly trying to make a bride and groom pattern I saw for my fiance and I. Lol, well I hope that your things sell! Have a wonderful day!

I have actually made doll clothes back when I was a little kid, but it was made out of
that I used to design using my crayons and I even dye my dolls' hair with my water color but back then, I was wondering why the color isn't mixing with the hair
(well, now I now that as the name goes, it's water-based). I miss making doll clothes but I just have no time for that and my parents would surely laugh at me 'cause I'm a grown up now.

Yeah, but what I meant was just like a hobby, my parents would so laugh at me. I have a collection of dolls of different nationalities and it was one of my priceless possession. I wouldn't trade it for anything and I think it would be great to dress them up.
Your business is so cool, keep it up!

I have not made dolls like that before. I have not made any dolls at all. I have crochet blankets and other things, I do beautiful cross stitch pictures but have not made dolls.
I have been do board, depressed that I have not done any hand work at all. I need to get back into it.

When I had my Barbie doll I made her clothes all the time. She had quite a wardrobe. It was fun to create and undertake the makings of some pretty cute stuff. Fur trimmed and cute accesories as well.

Nope, I'm not creative that way. My creativity lies in my writing, not in physical crafts.

yeah I did. My daughter loves it and she wants me to make more doll clothes. But right now, I don't have time to make those clothes and my daughter has shifted her interest to cars. I will be making doll clothes again when she would start playing with her dolls.

I haven't made doll clothes since I played with dolls but I am thinking of starting to do so again because it is a good way to teach children how to sew. They can learn some simple no pattern required things and then later make them on a larger scale and create complete wardrobes for themselves. Of course getting them to sew in a straight line and to make consistent stitches is always a challenge...

The only doll clothes that I ever made were knitted for my daughters' Barbies. I even made a wedding dress for one of them.
