I'm finally making money on eHow!

I have been back over at eHow.com doing some writing again, because I just could not stay here at MyLot all day long! I have been writing articles and recipes for about two months now, and I was really frustrated when I started, because I made something like $1.03 in the end of December, and the balance did not carry over. Finally this past week my balance started going up again! I have a balance of $6.97 from the beginning of the year, and it is going up by about .50 or more a day! I think it's because I am writing again and exposing my articles, and I did submit then to the web, so maybe that's kicking in too... Have any of you found eHow to be a good site to make money on? Did you not like it or do you still write there? Share your story here!

i started in january. as of today i have 49 articles published. some are recipes but mostly articles on other subjects. the first month i made maybe under $1. 2 days ago i finally got good info on how to link my articles on search engines. my views have gone up drastically and my earnings are going up also. I think for february my earnings are $4.43. no, it isn't what i'd like it to be but maybe the search engines will help. i don't plan on publishing any more articles. i have gone back and taken another look at my articles to see if they needed anything. i wrote each one because i felt passionate about it at the time. i don't write thinking how much money it will make. i can't write that way. i am frustrated when i hear about the people who make big money on ehow but i can't compare myself to them. they might be spending more time on it, they might have websites or blogs, they might be writing based on popular keywords and subjects. i wrote the most when i needed to do that. i still check in every day but i am going to write with other goals in mind. (hopefully more profitable goals)

Hi Nutty! I know you write on eHow, cause that's how you found MyLot, though ME!!! It's great to see you having fun here, and you almost have a star! I will rate you positivly here! As far as eHow goes, I know it can be a little limiting because it is just for writing how to's, so even if you have a good idea, it isn't the best place to write a thoughful article. Associated Content is better for that, I can send you a link if you aren't already a member there. I like that they pay up front, even if it's just a little bit, it's nice to see real money. I think my writing has slowed over there too, because I just couldn't generate a lot of traffic either until I joined that Read and Rate Group. This has been my best month yet, so maybe the money will start rolling in!! As far as people making BIG money over there, I don't see it happening, but I guess if you had a really active blog or tons of friends out there on the web at Facebook and stuuf you would generate more traffic, but who in the world has the time to do all that and still write articles? Thanks for the response, and have a fun day at the Lot!

It is nice that you already got paid there and on 40 articles, at that. I wrote 50, but they are just now earning money. Let me know how you did it!

Wish you can get more from eHow.

It is not that I am not making money here at mylot, but I like to get paid from multiple streams of income, and eHow is just one of them. I write on Bukisa, too, and that site is a little better because the articles don't have to be how to articles. The link is on my Blog for both of these sites.

Hi, again, libinkop, i am sorry, it seems that what i said has made you miscatch my meaning, i thought i made some mistakes in this clause 'it seems that you have not paid as you wish in mylot', what i really want express is that 'it seems that you have not get as much as you wished in mylot', but not 'no paid', i am sorry, it was my fault, my mother is not English, look how poor my English is, i hope what i said in my previous comment have not made you feel uncomfortable. Thanks for the information you provide, you are versatile, have a nice day!

I'm not sure that any of this writing that I'm doing is worth it at this point, but since I just started a few months ago, I think it takes a while to kick in. I submit all of my articles from a free submission site that can be found on my blog, by the way, and that is the ONLY way I know how to really increase traffic, so try it and let me know! Thanks for the response.

I've been paid by them a couple of times. I haven't written anything in a while, but I've been thinking about dedicating a little more time to them and write a few articles so that I can boost my earnings. It's great to hear that your hard work is paying off!

I have joined ehow before but did not continue considering that my country is not included for payment. Meaning, I cannot earn even if I submit articles. I do agree that ehow is a good site for earning. They are legitimate and is quite famous. Good luck to you and may you earn more.
26 Feb 09
writing at ehow is fun and easy, I haven't written an article in about two months but I am still getting paid every month, If your articles there are not making too much, it may be because you are not submitting them to all the right categories or using the right tags. Also make friends there and submit your articles to digg and others. The more people who see your articles the more money you will make.

hello ljbinkop i haven't ever heard of ehow's website before so i just went there and visited their website and i saved it in my favorite places to check out when i have somemore spare time to invest in another website. are you making more extra money on ehow's website than you are around here at Mylot? and also, how much is ehow's minimum payout amount? is it ten dollars also? thanks for sharing. and it is nice to know that a person can post recipes there to make extra money. on Gather's website you can also post recipes. you get points there and they are updated every fifteen minutes, so that you can see your progress as you go long in a days time. but anyways, you can exchange your points for things that they have to offer, like i am saving my points for a twenty-five dollar paypal transfer, i think it was something like twenty-five hundred points or something like that to make that payout. well thanks for sharing about ehow's website will all of us around here at Mylot who hasn't heard of that website before, like me. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

Hey Tn, I will send you the link to the site if you would like to join. I'll send it in a personal message to you. I have been writing there for about 2 months, and am now just starting to see the jump in income. The minimum is also 10.00, and balances carry over if you do not reach it in a given month. I hope to make payout next month at this rate! It has been a good site for me, by the way. I love to write recipes, and now that they are out there and published, I feel like I've accomplished something. Give it a try and let me know if you like it or if you have any questions, I maybe can answer about how to make money there. It's always nice to have an extra source of income on the web!!

I wouldn't really call that "making money" considering a good well-written article to the right person i've seen bought for generally a range of $50-$300+ per. There is such a thing as payperword, why is it lost when it comes to the internet? Site's like Ehow are kind of unique in their own little way though because isn't Ehow a kind of a write "how-to" guides like. step by step? Instead of writing actual articles? If so I might stop by there again as I can send in a few "how-to's" of my own. Oh, wait. I think I know what it was. They wanted too much personal information up-front when the actual .gov site I looked at says otherwise for certain aspects of the site. Anyways. G'luck to you and keep on enjoying earning there if you like it

I haven't tried ehow, but I tried triond. I'm not too pleased with them. Haha. I'm thinking about closing out that account! It's too tough! And once your articles do get accepted you only get a cent or 2. Not too pleased with that either. So far Mylot is doing much better for me. But, I'm not too sure what to do about my articles. So, keep me posted on how ehow is working for you, if you can.
