of course there is always water and ice there.... i mean what is always in your fridge that when you see that you will soon use the last one you will buy another set. mine is tofu. i love tofu. the soft and the regular type tofu. my children also eats tofu. its a healthy part of our diet. i sometimes buy milk in cartons but since i am not much of a milk drinker i stop buying milk for it spoils before i can drink it. so instead i buy powdered milk. so my response is tofu... ohh and kalamansi, its a small green fruit that is as sour as lemon.

Hi roni. I always make sure that I never run out of the following in my fridge: bottled water, tomatoes, potatoes, red bell pepper, chicken thigh fillet, frozen peeled prawns, yoghurt, fresh milk, eggs, mushrooms, and sliced ham or bacon. Those are the things that I can survive with in even for a couple of weeks without going to the supermarket for a while. I can cook tons of recipes or dishes with them, of course with all the fresh veggies hubby brings home.

Tofu is a very healthy food. But usually we tend to buy fresh tofu from the market and we seldom will store it into the fridge. I think the eggs are the food which are always available in our fridge. As it's easy to make delicious and easy dishes by eggs. I love China

when i was still a kid... we live in a place were there is always freshly cooked tofu. mom buys it and it is still hot. it does smell fresh and inviting. but we are no longer living in that area and in the place were i am there are no factory of fresh tofu. so all i do now is buy it on packages like the photo i attached and cooked it when i want a tofu recipe. i do missed the taste of real fresh tofu. that is more delish. one question youless.... do you eat stinky tofu? seen it on tv and find it very interesting.

I think we always have egg in our fridge. I think there's a less chance of us running out of kalamansi than us running out of eggs! My father likes putting hardboiled egg in his vegetable salad :P Too bad he doesn't take the yellow out of it so it would be more healthful... Thanks for the response on my discussion!

What's always in my ref/freezer are hotdogs and cheese. I don't really store those that get spoiled easily. It's waste of money. I just buy enough of those.

My answer will be egg. My sisters and I just like eggs. Once during a vacation of about a month and a half, we ate about 120 eggs, which was amazing to my mom. Besides, eggs are really convenient. We can make a lot of dishes out of them. Thus there are always eggs in my fridge.

Hey roniroxas! Mine would be eggs. I eat eggs for breakfast and we also use it as one of the mixtures in some our dishes. I also mix it with orange juice. But I don't eat eggs every day because it has a high cholesterol level, 'know what I'm saying. I like tofu too but we don't often cook tofu.

just like i told chris up there eggs are very versatile. it can be eaten in a lot of dishes and it is also a main ingredient of baking recipes. it can also be eaten as is. but i agree that eggs has a lot of protein that can cost to make the cholesterol high and we should take care of ourselves. thanks for the response

Our fridge always got a bottle of Coke. My mom's a Coke (Coca Cola not coccaine) addict and she would buy Coke everyday then chill it on the fridge to keep it cold enough for lunch or dinner or snacks too! I guess we're not the only family who are like this.

Things that are always in my fridge (unless I'm having a very poor week ): milk... even though it always gets thrown away as none of us drink it. Just for guests really! cheese...can't beat cheese for versatility when it comes to food... sarnies, toast, cheese sauce... goes on about everything. butter/marg... well we all know what we do with that! Carrots... for the dear little bunny monsters. Jam... i make a mean "quick" steamed jam sponge Eggs... A staple of life!! That's about it! Everything else is there for a couple of days after shopping, then is gone never to be seen again!

Not only is it yummy in itself, it is also a great addition to most dishes. Too bad we can't eat too much because of the cholesterol. :( I also have powdered milk but I prefer the ones in tetra pak. :)

One thing I cannot have w/o in a fridge are fish and eggs. Am very used to these foods that even here in the USA am still having them in the fridge. At first it was a connstant fight w/ me and my husband as he dislikes fish very much and often call it "yucky". But I always have my way sometimes and he understands it so now he is always buying me fish. Although it's not the same thing I have in the Philippines but I still like it.

There are a lot of things which are there in my fridge always. Besides water and ice my fridge is always occupied with milk. My baby love baby corn so I always store them in my fridge. I never know when he can ask for corns. My in-laws likes ice-cream very much so we always try that ice-cream should be there in fridge. And yes how can i forget butter. The raw vegetable which is to be prepared the very next day is stored in the fridge. so that it doesnt get spoiled if kept outside.and we alwys keep ginger garlic paste in my fridge as it is needed very frequently in preparing vegetables.
