I'm not much into texting long messages but just to make sure that the person I'm gonna call isn't busy, I would normally text first to give advance notice.
I agree with you,n30wing,it's hard to discuss things in texting.

I call my friend only if its urgent.But more often i just send them messages and chat with them on any topic.I think that sms chatting is a better way for time pass than calling that person.

Well same with me if it's urgent I rather call, then texting. But if I just wanna say hi I rather give them an email if their in the province. But if their just near I rather just pass by at their place and talk. Have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!

It depends on if I have to tell them something that requires being able to talk to them with out a word limit. texting is mostly good for the times when you just have something small to tell them.

Hi N30wing, if my friends are working, then I will choose texting message to them, if they don't work on that day, I will call them. I normally using texting them for remind somthing, or just simple word can be understand, if I want to discuss something with them, them I will choose calling them, or meet them by texting messages.

usually i text my friends if it is not urgent but if it is very important and we need to resolve it as soon as possible, i call them. it is cheaper to text so we use text more often. i have a friend who usually prefers to call rather than use text because he wants to hear the voice of the person haha.

I usually text my friends if it is not urgent or if i want to just pass the time. But if it is urgent i call them. And n30wing as u said sometimes it is hard to discuss something in text. I agree with you. Even when i text my friends if they dont understand what i am saying them i call them and say it again so that there should not be any misunderstandings.

yeah, you`re right. I just txt someone when i just need to tell that person something not so important, and not so complicated. But when i have a problem , or something to ask , i really call that guy and tell him all that i need to say, and in that way, i`ll resolv my sissues quicker and i`ll earn a lot of time. Text messages are for holidays, for something that you really don`t know what to say more than a text message, or when you don`t want to tell him some thing at the phone, because you can`t.
