eating together with pregnant women makes you sleepy?

i went to a shopping center with my friend..she was 4 months pregnant..we share the same food and at first..we eat nicely ..and we chat a lot...suddenly i felt sleepy and i really want to lie down...and when i see the time we already spent 2 hrs eating..have you experience eating together with pregnant women? plz,share

I don't think that the pregant woman is what got you sleepy. I think the eating for 2 hours is what made you sleepy, very likely it was what you ate and the amount that made you sleepy, digesting food takes energy from the body and if you eat to much especially if you are eating a lot of carbs it is going to make you sleepy. Yes, I have eaten with pregnant women and I myself have been pregnant 4 times.

Actually i have no idea because i never had to eat with pregnant women,but i personally think its rubbish and you were not sleepy because of that meal you were sleepy because you might had a short night or something.

I had many times when I was working! I do know if it's true or psychological but it happens to me also before!
And when I was with my preggy friend before, I can eat a lot also like them! LOL![/i]

..some doctors doesnt believe this..but their are some experiences that doctors doesnt know..this is the 1st time i become sleepy since she get preggy..

Sure, most of my friends are females:) It's a little strange. As I think usually a pregnant woman will feel tired or sleepy easily. Perhaps at that time you were really tired. In fact sometimes I feel nervous to have a meal with a pregnant friend. As I am afraid whether she will be alright when we are eating. I am worried the baby will be born at that moment:)

I don't have any experience like you.May be you have the idea before and experienced it as happening to you.There may be some other reasons for your sleepiness by that time.Why don't you try it again and come out with the result?Cheers!

I also heard this myth, and my friends also believe in this, but some doctors don't agree with this thing. Actually, I have a friend who is pregnant and we always took lunch together and sometimes shared foods but I never get sleepy or feel irritated or something. Maybe, it is just some circumstances why you are sleepy but not because you ate with a pregnant woman.
