Will it help in real life? Carrying the firm belief that everything will definitely turn for the better? In times of trouble most of us get frustrated and begin to feel wearisome for having had to live a sorry existence.Confidence built on a firm ground enables one to make a clearer thinking ..in fact the optimistic outlook is brought to the optimum level.Isn't it quite desirable in human life?

From my experience as a therapist, to be optimistic is a far better way to view life. Even people who live a wretched existence by other people's standards appear to be much happier with their life often surprising on-lookers - who couldn't begin to imagine having such problems themselves. As a Zen practitioner, I aim to look at trying times as something to learn from. Things can't be great all the time, it is the law of opposites you could say, when in order to experience happiness, you need to know what unhappiness is in order to make the distinction. When I get to feel frustrated or stressed, I find myself doing more meditation than usual, not to try and obliterate my mood, but to understand how it has come about from a deeper level. I usually find negative states precede an deeper sense of awareness of Self, which can be very profound. . Derek

Yes, optimism is the best thing to have in life. When things go wrong, if we start to think about how bad they are, we are getting into a pessimistic, negative mindset. This mindset will cloud us from realizing what could be easy solutions to the problems we have. If we are optimistic, we don't go into mayday mode when things go wrong. We know that there is a solution to what we are going through, and are open to finding those solutions.

INTRODUCTION: Optimism is a disposition or tendency to look on the more favorable side of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome. It involves P.O.D.C. formula and the sequence system of; Planning, Organizing, Departmenting and Control. These are the prime set of it, to work with and work for it. In reality, it helps our life. ARCHITECTURE OUR LIFE: Where we can obviously seen the projection of it in those areas, which really productive and met the related requirements to control its progress and development. From this point of life time, the high level of confident in oneself appears completely with verve energy. Like an architecture, working with an imaginary planning on a piece of blank paper, negotiating with the rules and methods of drawing before the subject of drawing put in reality. THE OPTIMUM: Optimum is an indicator, as an outcome to optimism. Optimum level will be leverage by, having said, support by nature. When nature supported optimism, it eased the listed tasks and hard things no longer exist; easy thing, easy going and easily done. MY CONCLUSION: Human needs nature support to drive optimism to the optimum. As an example, Mr Obama is optimist to his new nation financial recovery plan. So, he needs majority Americans and world countries as nature elements to support his planning and the progress to the optimum level. To dedicate his desires towards the virtue objectives.

I have always been optimistic in all my life. I believe in God and I believe that for as long as I remain in His will, all things will work out together for my own good. I know that everything will turn out always for my betterment even if it initially seems not going fine. The Bible in Romans 8:28 states: "All things work together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose." As a believer, I am claiming the truth of God's word and all His promises in my life and this one is among those. Now with this beautiful promise of God, how could I not be optimistic in my life?

Optimism is definitely the key to keep moving forward and upwards and to grow and live life! We need it when we have to make hard decisions and when we come across struggles in life.

It is good to be optimistic, especially now with the recession. It would be so easy to not be optimistic. But, I find it sure helps to try and be positive in what we think, and how we feel, it is not easy, but it sure helps. Great topic

The good thing about optimism... is that it gives you the motivation to do things. You would not do something if you thought it was not going to work. But too much optimism can be bad... as it will make you do things which are doom to failure. So you need to be realistic and find the right balance. Being optimistic will not make something work when it can't work. If you can make it work... it is not optimism. It is simply that you are smarter than most.

Hi sukumar! I believe that Optimism is essential to reach our goals. Being optimistic is expecting and visualizing a good outcome or a great result since we have covered all our bases. Being optimistic in this hard times will help us survive this economic crisis. Because we won't be passive with our life but will look for opportunities, work on it and never give up. As an optimistic person always say, "Things work out well because I do whatever needs to be done." Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Hi sukumar, I believe that things always work out for the best. I came to that conclusion many years ago and have remained firm in the belief ever since. Have I ever been frustrated and had momentary doubts? Absolutely, I think it would be impossible not to feel that way sometimes. We all go through trials in life and there are often times when we can't understand why something happened the way it did. In my case these thoughts have always been short lived and eventually I've been able to understand. There are however some things that we may never perfectly comprehend but when we take the overall view, we know there has to be an answer. Taking this view of life helps us to be happier and healthier individuals. Blessings.

When you take the attitude that everything will turn out right eventually, that things happen for a reason and will always benefit you no matter how painful it is at the moment, you're life WILL be much better. You'll be healthier and while you may want to better yourself you'll be happier with wheat you have. Optimism lets you see what you have, not pout about what you don't!

as it is written in the bible.."with God all things are possible", being optimistic without faith is not desirable...so it goes hand in hand, for we do not think positively then do not believe is useless, we all deal with different issues everyday and sometimes it feels hopeless but al we need to do is to have a strong conviction that everything will turn out fine as we work hard to make everything alright and also the most important thing is to as God in prayer for our needs. For He is our helper and our shelter in times of trouble. (^_^)
