An island or a city?

I love to visit tropical islands and I also enjoy visiting cities with attractive looking architecture. I can get bored after a few days in paradise so it is great to move on to a different destination. I went to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala and spent a few days on Caye Caulker, a tropical island, going on snorkeling trips. I then went to look around the Mayan ruins and so it was a perfect combination. My last trip was to South Africa when I went to the beautiful city of Cape Town and then explored the Garden Route. What would appeal to you an island vacation or a visit to a city? Which island or city would you choose?

I would choose a vacation Island any day. When I go on vacation I like to get away from everything, use it as a time to relax. Two years ago during my winter vacation at school, A bunch of kids from my high school soccer team went to the Bahamas and stayed at a friends family's house. It was a small island about a 20 minute boat ride from Great Abaco in the bahamas. It was a beautiful house, one of the nicest if the not the nicest on the island. It was in a gated community with no other houses around it. It had its own private beach for about a half mile. I loved it there, i wish we could have gone back this year, lol. I like cities, but they cause a lot of stress too and I dont want stress when im on vacation.

I can see you are a fan of tropical islands. I very much enjoyed reading about the excellent time you had in the Bahamas. Small islands have lots of appeal to me. Wow! It must have been lovely to have a private beach belonging to the gated community. I think sunshine can be relaxing and swimming in a calm sea makes me feel really refreshed.

Be sure I like to go to an island much more as I was born and grow up in a city. So a city will not be much more attractive for me. Whereas I can only see an island when I have a travel. I like the beach and ocean. It is so relaxing. I love China

I like both islands and big cities, and I think that my dream holdiay would be a combination of both. I have done that in the past. I like to stay in a big town where there are plenty of things to see and do. I am an artist and when I go to a new place I always like to visit the artmuseums and the different galleries. I also like to visit other sights, churches and museums. When I have spent some time in a big city I usually get tired of the noise and pollution, and then I feel like visiting a quiet and beautiful island. When I have been on the island for a while I want new experiences and then I go back to the big city.

It's my dream to spend a vacation in an exotic and lonely island.. I would love to visit the Hawaii or Indonesian islands or any other island in the world... It would be best if I am there for a vacation with the man I love... The blue waters, waves, trees make me crazy and water on all sides, greeneries make the environment so very subtle and suspicious!! I am looking forward to visit an island atleast once in my life!!
