I use refill ink because it really cheaper than use original ink. 5 years until now, i haven't problem with refill ink. May be, you think your cartridge will be damage using refill ink (We must be carefully for refill into the cartridge). Don't touch the head of cartridge or printer with your finger, that can cause your print head make a hole. Ink will be out, and if you'll printing the pictures or documents that line won't printing. So, make sure you don't touch the head of cartridge or printer then your printing will nice. What are you using, do you use original or refill ink for your printer? Tell me, anything what do you use. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I have always thought that it would be good to refill ink but all the printer companies scare you with talk that you could ruin your printer.

I do a refill on my old printer, imagine i use it for more than five years old and there is no problem at all. But after I compare it with my new printer, my new printer would not be detected after I use refill ink. It seems, each ink must have a match with the printer in order not to damage. So, I still use refill ink for my old printer forever.

Yes, they want is that you must purchase the original, not imitation. That is done in the factory during this to increase the quality and the quantity of goods. Replacement of old products with new products that have very much difference, besides the speed is also needed a good result.

That is interesting and probably an intentional condition created by the manufacturer to insure new ink cartridge purchases.

I don't think I've ever used a refilled ink cartridge, however I have used a generic brand before hehehehe. And getting the generic one, there really was no difference. Just that it was 75% off of how much I was paying for the regular ink cartridge.

For me, use refill ink cut my cost to buy an new cartridge. Refill ink cost you 130 times more cheaper than use original ink. Example: With new cartridge you can print 300 pages, and with refill ink you can print 280 pages. But, with just buy one refill ink you can refill it 2-10 times. It was cost me 300% for the regular ink cartridge. Because, my old printer doesn't consume a lot of ink (20cc can consume 400 pages for black ink). Thanks for your response and happy mylotting!!!

For now, we are still using original inks since we are afraid that the refill inks might damage our printer. But we are considering if we should use refill inks instead since it is a lot cheaper and will save us a whole lot more. It would be much better if the companies would charge less price for the original inks so that we can still use original inks

you right, if the companies would charge with less price for the original people will use original inks. But, that not happen until now they actually increase the selling price.I also compare the price with original and refill ink is so far different. With 100 cc you can used up to 4000 pages, it same as you buy 20 original cartridge. So, I am using refill ink for lifetime.

Long ago, I bought a refill and was too impatient to do the process that I went back to a cartridge to even try the refill. Now that money is tight, I may need more patience.

There is no need to be patience with refill on old printer, because it easy to do. But, we must be careful to refill on new printer. Don't touch the head with finger, this may need more patience. With new cartridge, we just put into printer and doesn't need injection. If we was too impatient, then ink will leak out and printer will not works. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting!!!

It defend on type of printer, if the printer can detect how much ink has been used so that is impossible we force the cartridge to use refilled. If you have a printer which refilled from head of cartridge then your printer will be not long to use refilled many times.

Hi May I use refill ink for my computer coz it works cheaper yet good. The original is too expensive. When we are getting a good quality with a cheaper rate, it is wise to get the later one.

yes, to get a good quality we need the original and if refill is same as the original then people will choose the refill compared to the original.

I used to buy the originial ink cartridges but those things are very expensive and very wasteful. We have a Walgreens just down the road that will take your ink cartridges and refill them for you at a very nice price. We ran out of black ink for my printer the other day and we were torn about what to do. Well, we decided to check out the prices for Walgreens and they were running a really nice special. If you brought in a coupon you could get your ink refilled for only $5! Now, considering that I pay more than $25 each time I buy a new ink catridge, I consider this a really excellent deal! We took the cartridge, waited no longer than 10 minutes and were able to leave with a like new ink catridge for a very nice price.

Yes, the original ink cartridge are very expensive and very wasteful. And, i don't need brought in a coupon to get my ink refilled. For 100cc, it cost me RP 20.000 or $2! I do refilled by myself. This took 3-5 minutes and able to use. Perhaps, if my cartridge doesn't seems fine i will buy a new cartridge :) because i still use it more than 5 year for ink refill. I have inject the cartridge more than 100 times, and this hard to imagine that cartridge not loss the nozzles. Thanks and happy mylotting!...

Before that we are still using canon spx200 we used to refill the ink rather than replace it with original. Its cheaper and it is just like an original too. We are now using Epson Stylus Tx100 and we do not use refill ink, but we buy original one.We buy the three colors and black separately and we tend to print only those important mostly using draft printing to save printer's ink.

The new printer model at this time using the detection ink system, if the ink is not original then the printer will not run the commands from the computer. Not like old printer, it allowed we to do refill the ink without limit. I using Cannon 265SP, cause I think it release at 1996. I know technology has been much faster and have a good performance. If we can go back to the past and see what we can do now, there is so much different.

Well i'm still using the original ink of my printer but when it will be empty, then i will go for refill. You're right, it will be cheaper and i don't think it will damage the printer as long the the refilling is done well. My printer is pretty cheap anyway and would cost as much as an original cartridge. Let's just be practical. Original cartridge are very expensive and we have a better alternative so why not?

Yes, it would be destroy your cartridge if you keep printing even the cartridge was empty. Sometimes, I do my mistake to put my finger in the head of cartridge. Now, I am being aware for refill the ink. Because I still don't use new system which can treatment your printer more better to use refill ink.

Yes, I also got two cartridge for free (black and color) when I buy a new printer. In order for your printer or cartridge is not easily broken then the routine checks to be performed, and the ink should not try to empty.

I used refill before in one of my printers. Besides being cheaper than the new set of ink cartridges, the resulting copies don't have any significant difference when original inks were used. However, when I left the printer unused for more than a week, the nozzle was clogged. I tried several times to clean the nozzles and brought new set of inks but to no avail. Unfortunately, it costs too much to have it repaired so I opted to buy a new printer.

After 4 years, i am printing a document and i see the ink found in behind paper. Then, i buy new printer with optional for 2 cartridge detection. But, at least after 1 year i use new printer my color cartridge was not detect. And, i try to fix my old printer. I open the printer, then clean up all inside printer with water and detergent. I left the printer unused for more than 1 year, the nozzle was clogged. I tried several times to clean the nozzles, but still ink cannot out. So, i am put my cartridge head into warm water. After a few minutes, i put back to the printer then it can work again. Ink is out and ink doesn't found in behind paper, i am happy to see that happen. It cost me too much if i buy a new printer, at least i still use my old printer. My old printer easy to use, and can be fix with easily. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting....

I use new cartridges in my printer. I don't actually print that much so I don't spend that much money by buying new ink cartridges. My dad used to use refills for his printer and he found that he can only refill the ink cartridges so many times before they start to leak.

Are your printer detecting your ink tank? I have try to refill in the new printer model, but at least only 1 years i can refill the ink after that, printer doesn't accept my refill. And, show me the message "Ink Run Out" so i just use my old printer model. My new printer have 2 cartridge, black and color. When one of those cartridge not detect, it would send error message. One of my refill ink (Black) is still fine, it still detect. But, my other cartridge (Color) was not detect perhaps it happen when i touch the head of cartridge. So, i cannot printing with new printer. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting...

I use a CIS (Continuous Ink System). It's a refillable ink system, except you don't have to refill the cartridge. The cartridge is connected to tubes that go in the ink bottles. When the ink gets low in the bottles, you simply refill the bottles. It's very easy to use and saves a ton of money. And you don't have to worry about damaging the print head. Once I learned about this, all my printers have one on them. I couldn't believe how much money I could save not buying regular cartridges. I even found some printers on ebay that already had them installed so all I had to do was fill the bottles with ink and go. Amazing.

This system is very safe to use, and we do not need to remove the printer cartridge only needs to fill the bottle. So, your printer will be durable if the system is used. Good if you have this system, because in addition to saving money also provides comfort in refill the ink.

Yap, i think you're right. It work pretty well, but we must ensure the cartridge still fine when we using the refill ink. My printer still fine, the dots are still complete. I use refill ink for more than 100 times injection. People said after 5 times using the refill ink, you must change your cartridge. Haha, but i don't care what people said about my refill ink. This is prove, the refill ink not defend on how long do you refill your ink. But, it defend on how can i refill with safe. Thanks for your response...happy mylotting!!!
