Toilet Seat

well since you stated first that you lift the toilet seat, I sure hope you are a guy! If not, you must have a wet butt or be fishing for something! Ok, I do get your point. I think traditionally it was only polite for men to put the seat back down for woman to sit on...(its hard for us to stand!) But now in an age where us women want everything equal, then why should you have to put down the seat other than it looks tidier. You see us woman are smart..we want equality when we want it, and chivalry too when we want it!..That way we get the best of both worlds! I really dont care whether my hubby leaves the seat up or down..its not like its too heavy!

How hard is it for a guy to just put down the toilet seat? Sorry, if a guy couldn't do at least that I would just assume he's a pig. Especially because a lot of times for women you don't really look, especially at night, and you fall in. It is not pleasant believe me!

My boyfriend is good about this. But one time he left it up, I complained, and he said, ok I won't lift it up anymore! He won. I would rather have to put it down than to sit on a wet seat.

I say to put it back down. I guess because thats the way the seat is made to be down. I am a girl and if a guy leaves the seat up and I am not paying any attention I may just fall into the toliet. I have done that before lol.

yeah i think that putting the seat down is the right thing to do, and that girls should put the lid down, just remember to flush after the lid has been put down. it's more sanitary.

i would say putting it down is right. and a girl should put the lid back down, hen flush, it's not as germy.
